Are you tired of people telling you how strong you are? Friends, family and even some therapists will often say this with the best of intentions. True healing, however, moves beyond pure resiliency. We must go further than just managing our emotions and begin to process and heal them so we can move through. As your therapist I will be both companion and challenger along your journey. I will walk alongside you and bring a genuine sense of compassion to any difficulties you may face. I offer a safe, open and non-judgmental space for you to find your own voice and equip you with tools to move forward and reach a more contented life. My therapeutic approach is integrative and incorporates a blend of cognitive behavioral, body based, emotion focused, family systems and relational orientations. I offer a holistic approach to treatment, taking into account your personality and life circumstances to create a specialized plan which reflects your own unique goals and gifts.
Our priority is helping you find the solution that works best for you, by listening carefully and asking the right questions before working with you to create a tailored plan to address your needs. We genuinely care about people and use the modalities and techniques that work best for the individual. We work with a wide variety of people with an even wider variety of needs. We both do a lot of work with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, LGBTQIA challenges, and aging or life transition issues. Carol E. O. Hi! My name is Jen Russell. I would love to help you explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors in a safe, empathetic environment. I think the therapeutic relationship is critical so I will work hard to establish trust and build rapport with you. We will discuss your hopes for treatment and then work together to establish goals that will help you meet them. I will work with you to process your stressors, understand your negative thought patterns and develop healthy behaviors to promote positive changes in your life. With a focus on mindfulness techniques, identification of non productive thought patterns, and encouraging a healthy life balance, we can work together toward the change you would like to achieve. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, or any other life challenge, I am here to listen, guide and support you. I would love to talk with you and answer any questions you might have. I have over 20 years of experience working with teens and adults. I look forward to begin working with you and helping you build skills and create positive change to improve every day!
Hi, I am Dani Manetta, LCSW—a Marine Corps veteran, therapist, and mom. I work with teens (13+), adults, and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges, including co-parenting and blended family dynamics. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I offer structure when it’s needed and space when it’s time to process. Whether you’re a parent worried about your teen or an individual feeling overwhelmed or stuck, I’m here to help you build insight, confidence, and meaningful change. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I bring a mix of evidence-based tools, real-life perspective, and a strong belief that growth happens when we feel truly seen and supported. Whether you’re looking to process past pain, set boundaries, or just find your footing again, I’m here to help you feel more confident, capable, and connected. Whether you’re a teen, an adult, or a parent seeking support, the first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what’s been on your mind or weighing you down, and what you hope to change or better understand. I’ll ask questions to get a fuller picture of your life, relationships, and experiences—but there’s no pressure to share everything at once. I know the first session can feel a little awkward or nerve-wracking, especially if therapy is new. That’s okay. My job is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free. We’ll move at your pace, explore what matters most to you, and begin to build a plan together. You won’t leave with all the answers, but you will leave with a sense of clarity, direction, and—hopefully—relief that you’ve taken the first step
Howdy! My name is A.B. and I’m a queer, nonbinary therapist born and raised right here in Texas. Don’t let the folksy exterior fool you: growing up in a small town taught me to treat strangers like family, to uplift and respect the folks around me, and, as my granddad always said, “If you can help ’em, then help ’em.” I’ve brought those values into my therapy work and left the bigotry and systemic oppression behind like the hogwash it is. I practice from a place of cultural humility, guided by the stories, strengths, and values my clients bring to the table. You’re the expert on your life, I’m just here to walk alongside you, bringing the tools I’ve got in my toolbelt to help you navigate whatever’s weighing you down. There’s nothing too big we can’t face together, and I trust that with you in the lead, we can work toward the outcomes you’re hoping for in therapy. I specialize in supporting clients through trauma, grief, mood disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, neurodivergence, identity exploration, crisis recovery, and relationship challenges. I also love working with children and their families around emotional regulation, school and family stress, and communication. I’ve got a soft spot for neurodivergent kids (and adults!) and bring a lot of energy and creativity into that work. In session, I pull from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused, narrative, and collaborative therapies, plus a lot more. So don’t be surprised if I throw in a little art-making, somatic work, or IFS (parts work) now and then. I’m committed to being a lifelong learner, and if something isn’t clicking, I’ll work with you to find what does. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2023, and before that, I got my B.A. in Theatre Education. So I’m definitely open to getting creative in sessions, though just plain talkin’ is great, too. Outside of therapy, I love baking, storytelling in all its forms (theatre, concerts, poetry slams, and tabletop RPGs), and learning about folks whose lives are different from mine. I also enjoy spending time with my partner and our beloved pets Pip, Charlie, and Winston. If you think I might be the right counselor for you, I’d be honored to meet you. Feel free to email me at ab@vadacounseling.com or schedule a free consultation online.

With a focus on evidence-based practices and cultural humility, I aim to provide care that respects each client’s background and individual preferences. As a recent college graduate and former college athlete, I understand the unique pressure that comes with balancing academics, performance, relationships, and identity in today’s fast-paced world. College can be an exciting season of growth, but it can also feel overwhelming — especially when you’re striving to excel in the classroom, compete at a high level, maintain friendships or dating relationships, and navigate constant comparison fueled by social media, technology, and AI. I specialize in working with high-achieving college students who struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, body image concerns, eating disorders, and the internal pressure to always perform. Whether you’re pushing for top grades, managing the physical and mental demands of athletics, or silently battling self-doubt despite external success, I provide a space where you can step out of performance mode and show up as your full, authentic self. You don’t have to sacrifice your mental health to succeed. My goal is to help you build resilience, develop a healthier relationship with achievement, strengthen your identity beyond performance, and pursue excellence in a way that feels sustainable and aligned with who you truly are.
The clients that I work with share one thing in common - the boldness to seek professional help to assist them in navigating life and personal situations. If this sounds like you than reach out to me so I can walk the journey with you.

Life is hard! I get it, and more importantly, I get you. Therapy doesn't have to be hard. Sometimes you just need some extra set of eyes on your life with genuine concern and wide expertise. What type of clients found the most success with you thus far? Therapy doesn't work like that with me. Counseling is a personal process. But if you're willing to be goal set, grow, and experience counseling in a non-"bad and bougie" sort of way. Then come check me out!!!!
