My name is Jill Turner and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and with those who are having a hard time adjusting to or coping with a situation they feel stuck in. I help by getting to know you and your situation, tools, and resources. You are the expert in your life, and I am an expert at helping you maximize your strengths and identifying other things that can help. I view my clients as partners in this journey and use a holistic and system-based approach to get us to the goal line together. I have been practicing for over 20 years primarily with veterans, service members, and their families and I have been an Army wife who dealt with deployment and transitions. I am experienced working with women's health issues to include infertility and pregnancy loss. Change and lack of control in situations is hard. I have a passion for helping people manage life's curve balls and challenges and I hope you give me the opportunity to help you!

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. For me, being a physician is more than a profession—it is a vocation to help indviduals flourish. My practice is devoted to students and young adults seeking thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care that extends beyond symptom relief. I provide comprehensive evaluations that consider medical, nutritional, lifestyle, and psychological factors—including laboratory testing when clinically appropriate—to identify the contributors to emotional and cognitive health. I also specialize in evidence-based de-prescribing for patients who wish to reduce or discontinue psychiatric medications for anxiety, attention difficulties, or substance use disorders. My approach is guided by precision, humility, and restraint: using the least intensive intervention necessary while drawing upon the full breadth of evidence-based medicine. Depending on each patient's needs and goals, I integrate psychotherapy, nutrition, lifestyle medicine, exercise, targeted supplementation, and, when appropriate, carefully selected medications into a personalized treatment plan. In addition to my clinical work, I have presented internationally on psychiatric deprescribing and medical ethics. My work has been recognized with awards from the American Psychiatric Association, the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions, the American Psychoanalytic Association, and other leading professional organizations. I am the Founder & Medical Director of Verigrate Health. I am licensed to serve patients in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Lousiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington, D.C., and Wisconsin.

This space is yours—a place where we can talk openly, without judgment, and work together to understand what’s going on and how to move forward in a way that feels right for you. In our first few sessions, we’ll get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions to learn about your background and goals, and you can ask me anything about how I work or what to expect from therapy. There's no pressure to share everything all at once—this is your process, and we’ll go at your pace. My goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and supported.
Dr. Grabow’s approach to therapy is aimed at helping clients expand their capacity for well-being by exploring formative life experiences, focusing on how emotions are understood and managed, fostering mindfulness, and identifying values. She strives to develop a relationship with each client that is collaborative, authentic, whole-hearted, and empowering.
My therapeutic approach centers on the holistic well-being of individuals, with a particular focus on working with millennial female clients. My aim is to facilitate, through a strengths-based approach, your therapeutic journey towards enhanced well-being and deeper insight into your thoughts and behaviors (as well as understanding the roots of our cognitive and behavioral patterns). While my therapeutic toolbox encompasses Reiki, EMDR, IFS, and mindfulness techniques, I customize therapy sessions to suit each individual, allowing for flexibility beyond these established frameworks. I'm licensed in CO, TX, MT, OR, ID, WY, WA, and FL.
Are you tired of overthinking everything—relationships, school, work, finances, and what’s coming next in life? Do you find yourself always thinking ahead, planning details, and trying to stay on top of everything… to the point that it feels exhausting? Maybe your mind rarely slows down. You replay conversations, overanalyze decisions, and put pressure on yourself to do things the “right” way. You may find yourself feeling anxious about the future or wondering whether you’re somehow falling behind. Internally, it can feel exhausting to always be this “on.” If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Many highly capable people feel overwhelmed by the pressure to keep it all together while quietly struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, and emotional exhaustion. And often, it’s not simply a time management issue—it’s the mental and emotional load of carrying too much for too long. I specialize in helping individuals manage overthinking, overwhelm, anxiety, and perfectionism. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware, and driven, but feel mentally stretched and unable to fully enjoy where they are in life. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and grounded. Together, we’ll work to untangle anxious thought patterns, quiet the constant pressure you place on yourself, and create more space for clarity, confidence, and ease—without lowering your standards or stepping away from what matters most to you. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Most of the people I work with reach out while they’re still trying to make sense of what they’re experiencing—they just know they’re tired of feeling constantly “on” or stuck in cycles of pressure and overthinking. Please reach out today to start your care. I’m happy to answer any initial questions and help you determine whether we’d be a good fit. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you in feeling more grounded, more present, and more like yourself again—so life can start to feel a little lighter.

As a Licensed Therapist, I recognize the unique challenges college students encounter, from managing academic pressure to navigating personal relationships, life transitions, and identity development. College and early adulthood can be exciting, but they can also feel overwhelming. You may be trying to balance classes, work, relationships, family expectations, and questions about your future, all while wondering if you’re the only one who doesn’t have everything figured out. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, burned out, lonely, stuck, or like you’re constantly overthinking. Many of the students I work with are thoughtful, motivated, and care deeply about doing well. From the outside, they often appear to have it together, but internally they’re struggling with stress, self-doubt, perfectionism, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Therapy offers a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity. My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine. I won’t just sit back and nod, I ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and support you in developing healthier ways of coping, communicating, and relating to yourself and others. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and challenged in ways that promote meaningful growth. I provide virtual therapy for college students and young adults throughout Florida, New Mexico, New York, and Texas, making it easier to fit therapy into your busy schedule. If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, engaged, and committed to helping you navigate this stage of life, I’d be honored to work with you.
