I specialize in assessing and treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD and Level 1 Autism. My approach recognizes how traumatic experiences deeply affect mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. In therapy, we will explore the powerful connection between mind and body, working together to regain control over your life and build a more adaptive understanding of past experiences. My therapeutic interventions focus on developing resilience, strengthening self-confidence, managing symptoms effectively, and fostering new neural pathways that support more positive, meaningful experiences.

I believe psychotherapy is a project between two people where sources of emotional pain and anguish are discovered and revisited, where what has been denied, unimagined, forgotten, or come to be unspeakable can become imagined, felt and spoken. The process generates an understanding of ourselves that is vastly more dynamic than what our relationships, politics and culture allow, leading to the easing of suffering and the creation of new possibilities. The therapy I provide is open, an invitation. There is a freedom to it that takes courage and tolerance. It can involve a deconstructive or constructive momentum where you may not necessarily be told what to say or how to feel. It is an invitation to notice what comes to mind and what does not. What can emerge in a therapy is dynamic. It can surprise, frustrate, thrill and provoke. These experiences are worked through together. As you bring yourself as fully as possible to what confuses or afflicts, I will help guide you with my understanding of the mind toward a life of growth and healing.

Do you feel stressed, overwhelmed, or confused about your life? Are you trying to figure out who you want to be, what you want to do, or how to have better relationships and improved communication skills? I love working with students who are struggling with: anxiety, depression, career and job search, identity development, relationships, communication, fluctuating emotions, grief, balancing life, and life transitions. College is a wonderful and often life changing experience. It is also a time when so much change happens, that it can feel hard to hold it all together, and difficult to find the support you need to figure out what comes next. I'm here to listen, and here to help you figure out how to make the most of this part of your life. I hope you will reach out. I look forward to meeting you!

I value authenticity, empathy, and self-awareness, both for myself and my clients, and as a critical part of the therapeutic process (I also take advantage of the healing power of laughter whenever possible!). I aim to normalize and validate my clients’ experiences without judgment, and above all, provide the most basic of human needs: to feel seen and heard. My name is Stephanie (Stephanie or Stevie is fine) and I have been providing therapy in NJ exclusively via telehealth for about the last 4 years (prior to that, in person). If you have been struggling with symptoms of depression or anxiety, particularly if they are related to a traumatic experience, I would love the opportunity to work with you to reduce your mood- or anxiety-related symptoms, and to help you to experience a present that is not overshadowed or negatively impacted by situations and events from your past. I love working with women ages 20 to 30-something who are still in academia or just starting out in their careers, but also love working with women of any age. I frequently work with survivors of child sexual abuse, as well as those struggling with issues related to self-esteem/self-worth, but have treated many others as well. While experience and education are an absolute necessity to do this work, I believe that my lived experience has had a profound impact on both my ability to build strong therapeutic relationships and to be a more effective therapist. My ability to connect with clients has only been strengthened by my personal experiences with child sexual abuse, growing up with a parent with serious mental illness, and managing chronic depression since childhood, as well as through supporting loved ones through the complexities of mental illness, suicide, sexual abuse, special needs, chronic illness/pain, estrangement, dissociation, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, AD/HD, divorce, parenting, emotional and financial abuse, and coercive control. While I am not generally a "glass half full" person, nor do I necessarily believe that things happen for a reason, I do believe that if you're smart, you'll look for something to learn from the pain and from the healing. Doing so has lead me to this work and I want so much to show you what is on the other side of your pain. My background has also provided me with experiences that can be drawn upon when building relationships with clients. I have had the privilege of having known, grown up with, and cared deeply about people from a variety of backgrounds, races, nationalities, gender identities, sexual orientations, etc. In terms of strengths, I am unfailingly authentic, resilient, intelligent, curious, non-judgmental, and (at least in my personal life) hilarious ;) And by the way, all of those strengths? They were not so much developed as they were uncovered…through therapy. :) Please visit my website for blog and feedback from clients: www.of2mindstherapy.com *My practice is focused primarily on treating adults who identify as female as well as being a welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I do not currently treat cisgender heterosexual males, children or adolescents. I am currently licensed to treat clients in NJ, CT, OR, and WA Please reach out to see if your insurance is accepted. Hello! My name is Jenn Mayeda and I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC) and Mental Health Professional (MHP) in Washington state and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon. I am able to meet with residents who are living in Washington or Oregon. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Portland State University. My experience as a therapist comes from working for many years in community mental health with a wide range of clients. I have worked with children, families, teens, and adults in various programs. I also have experience doing crisis outreach at hospitals and answering calls on the crisis line and working on a specialized domestic violence team where we collaborated closely with a local DV agency to provide therapy and support to DV survivors and families impacted by domestic violence. My experience includes working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bi-polar disorder, grief and loss, life adjustments, trauma and parenting skills and support. I especially enjoy working with survivors of domestic violence. Many people think of domestic violence being mostly physical abuse, but DV also includes mental, emotional, psychological, sexual, financial, technology, religious, technology and physical abuse as well as power and control. I hold a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 certificate. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 2 sons and family, cooking, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, spending time at the beach and visiting new places. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles they are experiencing by using a variety of treatment techniques depending on the needs of each individual. I enjoy helping clients explore ways to make changes in their lives and learn new skills so they can have a hopeful and fulfilling future. If you are ready to make a positive change in your life, I encourage you to take that first step. I look forward to working with you and consider it a privilege and an honor to work alongside you on this journey. Please contact me below to schedule an intake or a free 20-minute consultation to discuss any questions you may have and to see if we may be a good fit to work together. I am currently only offering virtual appointments. I look forward to working with you!

Constant low-spoon days, chronic fatigue, a sense of impending doom, or questions around identity may be what brought you here today. You’ve been doing the best you can, but something isn’t working anymore. You don’t have to keep carrying it alone. I’m Kailey, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art therapist. I specialize in working with chronic illness, LGBTQIA+ clients, and trauma. I help people using a blend of art therapy and DBT-informed skills. Through guided creative work, we slow things down, make emotions and patterns easier to work with, and build tools for regulation, without relying on the “right” words. The process is intentional, supportive, and paced with care. You don’t need to be artistic or know exactly what to say to start. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care, focused on creating a space that feels contained and supportive rather than overwhelming. If you’re looking for a creative, structured approach to therapy that meets you where you are, I invite you to reach out.

Developmental trauma (experiences as we grow, including our family of origin) shapes how we see the world, sometimes unsafe and challenging to navigate. Our attachments are the foundations in which we trust or find conflict. Developmental trauma may manifest in the body as anxiety, stress, distress, relationship difficulties, depression and more. There is healing to be found here, to be understood and nourished. Well done on the first step in a journey toward wellness. The most important aspect of therapy is finding a person who makes you feel safe and heard. I look forward to collaborating. I have training and experience in working with trauma, family of origin/generational cycles, attachment disruptions, complicated grief and loss, sexuality, sex work and with LGBTQAI+ persons. I love working through emotions, trauma and somatic experiencing. I am Level I Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy trained. I enjoy working with and understanding folx from their perspective; I work with singles, couples, non-monogamous consensual relationships and families. I provide a safe, unassuming space in which you can find felt safety. I appreciate the eclectic person you are and would like to help you identify your own cracks, so that you can let your own light in. Currently accepting new clients. I offer an affirming space for individuals and couples to explore identity, relationships, and emotional challenges. I'm trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and certified in EMDR, integrating both to support healing from trauma, deepen self-understanding, and foster authentic connections. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating multigenerational trauma, anxiety, identity development, and life transitions. I especially enjoy supporting people as they unlearn old patterns, build healthier relationships, and create lives that feel more aligned and fulfilling. My approach is centered on helping you express yourself openly and without judgment. Whether you're processing trauma, exploring your identity, or seeking healthier relationships, I offer a collaborative, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming space to move toward self-acceptance, resilience, and meaningful change. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and reaching out is a brave first step. If any part of this resonates with you, I would be honored to connect and see how I can support you in the ways that matter most.
