I chose social work because I believe in helping the whole person. I recognize that we are all shaped by the environments and systems we live in, and I use this broader perspective in our work together. I specialize in adolescent, and emerging adult mental health, I have 6 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families across various settings, including schools and home-based services. Adolescence and emerging adulthood are periods of intense change, and my priority is offering a safe, non-judgmental space where young people can feel heard and truly understood. My therapeutic style is grounded in strength-based approaches and trauma-informed care. We might explore things using psychodynamic ideas to understand patterns, read and discuss books, music, and poetry through Bibliotherapy, or just have an open, honest talk therapy session. My approach is always about meeting people exactly where they are.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD-related concerns, phobias, and sleep difficulties Over the past several years, I have noticed that many college students struggle academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and attention-related concerns that may go overlooked. In response to this need, I have added comprehensive and affordable ADHD diagnostic testing to my practice to help students better understand their difficulties, access appropriate treatment recommendations, and obtain accommodations when clinically indicated for academic settings and standardized testing. In addition to ADHD testing, I frequently work with students experiencing anxiety, obsessive thinking, perfectionism, panic, OCD symptoms, sleep disruption, and stress related to academic performance and life transitions.
I have experience treating adults ages 18-80+ with depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation, mood disorders, trauma, insomnia, and adjustment disorders. I also enjoy working with individuals navigating challenges related to identity, cultural experiences, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships. My practice is inclusive and affirming, and I am committed to providing culturally competent care for individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. My clinical practice includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and the integration of supportive psychotherapy during medication management visits to help patients develop effective coping strategies and improve overall functioning. I'm passionate about helping people feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered in their treatment. Meaningful progress happens when patients feel safe sharing their experiences and actively participate in decisions about their care. Building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and open communication is central to my practice. I believe that every person's experiences, values, and goals are unique, and I take the time to understand what matters most to you so we can develop a treatment plan that fits your needs. My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and grounded in evidence-based care. I focus on meeting patients where they are and working together to strengthen resilience, autonomy, and overall mental well-being. I prioritize active listening and open communication so we can build a treatment plan that truly fits your experiences, goals, and values.
