Hello! I am Dr. Kathleen Wallace and I bring over a decade of experience counseling individuals as well as the education to maximize change within clients' lives. I work with people who struggle to build the quality of life that they desire. I help people identify their goals and co-create ways for them to begin working toward accomplishing those goals. I believe that people have the courage and strength to grow into who they want to become and that I can partner with them to do the work it takes to identify and realize their unique potential. I implement person-centered and strength-based approaches to build from each person's resilience and past successes. I became a counselor to partner with those hurting and seeking healing. I love building relationships and guiding growth that leads to the change my clients seek, and then celebrating those successes.

You aren't broken or damaged, you're a hero who needs help on their quest. I specialize in working with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, grief, chronic pain, and performance challenges. I help by integrating EMDR, Internal Family Systems, narrative, and strength-based therapies into a collaborative roadmap. In our first sessions, you can expect a thorough assessment, introduction to trauma-focused techniques like EMDR, and co-creation of a safe, strengths-focused environment. My practice is unique because I frame therapy as your hero’s journey, empowering you to harness resilience with evidence-based interventions. I’m Chad Starrak, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Questline Counseling. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and EMDR, helping clients navigate anxiety, life transitions, burnout, and unresolved trauma. Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, therapy offers a space to rediscover your inner clarity and direction. Each session opens a doorway—an invitation to journey inward, where forgotten truths and hidden strength reside. This isn’t a path to fix what’s broken, but to remember what’s sacred. Together, we’ll listen beneath the surface and follow the threads that lead you home to yourself.
The clients I see are sometimes in college experiencing feelings of overwhelm or feeling low. These clients describe their challenges as feeling, “como con miedo,” and also, “no se que tengo.” Other clients I see are future counselors who are at the beginning of their careers and facing imposter syndrome ( “I must’ve slipped through the cracks to get to where I am now”), self-criticism (“Why can’t I get my life together!"), or burnout (feeling fatigued and like you can never catch up). These clients are usually part of activist movements or workplaces and I believe in helping the healers that are out in the world making a positive impact on society. I benefited greatly from my own experiences with counseling when I was in grad school (still do) and I hope to provide the same non-judgmental opportunities to cry or laugh or both to future clients. In my work I value humility, curiosity, self-compassion and humor. I believe these are needed to provide authenticity and support at a time when people starting out in their fields of work are taking in new information that is stretching/challenging perspectives and care for the self is a necessity to continue doing challenging work.
Do you find yourself constantly putting others first? Often at the expense of your own needs? Do you struggle to say “no” without guilt, or question your worth when you’re not being productive or perfect? You’re not alone. I work with women and teenage girls who feel stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, poor boundaries, and self-doubt; women & girls who are ready to reclaim their voice, reconnect with their identity, and finally start loving themselves deeply and unapologetically.
The transition from high school to college can be a struggle for many students, who may experience feelings of anxiety, boundaries, and guilt during this time. Anxiety can manifest itself in a variety of different ways, such as people-pleasing behaviors, fear, perfectionism, and a general feeling of dissatisfaction. College is about boundaries; learning when to say yes and when to say no to both internal and external pressures. Establishing boundaries is important for the well-being of college students so that they don’t feel overwhelmed with stress or anxiety during this time of transition. If you're feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about your next steps, our individual therapy services can help. We'll work with you to develop a plan that addresses the specific challenges you're facing, and provides you with the tools and support you need to succeed.

I love helping all people, but I truly have a passion for helping young adults, BIPOC women, perfectionists, overthinkers, and highly self-aware individuals that can't feel their feelings. I truly believe that part of my purpose in life is to help people find their peace. I practice psychotherapy, music therapy, and therapeutic movement. We can develop a plan using all three if you'd like! I also cuss a little bit, there's no evidence behind it - I just feel like it helps. Hi, I am Dani Manetta, LCSW—a Marine Corps veteran, therapist, and mom. I work with teens (13+), adults, and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges, including co-parenting and blended family dynamics. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I offer structure when it’s needed and space when it’s time to process. Whether you’re a parent worried about your teen or an individual feeling overwhelmed or stuck, I’m here to help you build insight, confidence, and meaningful change. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I bring a mix of evidence-based tools, real-life perspective, and a strong belief that growth happens when we feel truly seen and supported. Whether you’re looking to process past pain, set boundaries, or just find your footing again, I’m here to help you feel more confident, capable, and connected. Whether you’re a teen, an adult, or a parent seeking support, the first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what’s been on your mind or weighing you down, and what you hope to change or better understand. I’ll ask questions to get a fuller picture of your life, relationships, and experiences—but there’s no pressure to share everything at once. I know the first session can feel a little awkward or nerve-wracking, especially if therapy is new. That’s okay. My job is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free. We’ll move at your pace, explore what matters most to you, and begin to build a plan together. You won’t leave with all the answers, but you will leave with a sense of clarity, direction, and—hopefully—relief that you’ve taken the first step
Hi there! I'm passionate about helping students who want to work through Complex PSTD or complex trauma, functional depression & anxiety, and self esteem concerns. My goal is to help you get unstuck from a cycle of over functioning, people pleasing, disconnection and overwhelm, to a place of grounding, clarity and connection. I don’t see therapy as a one size fits all approach; I enjoy fostering a space that’s gender affirming and body positive, as well as sex positive and kink friendly/affirming. I also strive to provide a warm, supportive and judgment-free space that is culture affirming and trauma informed, with an understanding that you are the expert on your life. In my opinion, one of the most important factors in getting to a place of grounding and healing, is having a strong connection and fit with your therapist. In our work together, you’ll find that my style is warm, compassionate, and empathetic. From a person-centered approach, I like to pull in from different therapies and tools as needed depending on what is going on for you. I’m not afraid to talk about anything you need to! I approach things from a place of curiosity and non-judgment.
Counseling for men who don't want counseling. Theraphe was founded with the distinct purpose to serve men just like you with intentionality and respect. After working with men of all backgrounds through previous crisis and outpatient work, one thing was abundantly clear: We men want better for ourselves and for our families. Yet too often, we do it alone. Therefore, we wanted to build a place where men felt comfortable asking for help. A place, no doubt, where we would want to go. No foo-foey flower patterned couches and no potpourri. No shame in our identity as men. We needed a place where we could navigate our goals with someone who shares our lens and shares our values as men, husbands, and fathers.
We believe that finding the right therapist for you is key. We strive to make clients feel comfortable, where you can freely and openly discuss your needs and concerns. We will work to identify your past and current experiences to uncover how different events impacted you. Therapy is not one size fits all, but is customized to fit each client as they work through the healing process to reach your goals. From learning obstacles, ADHD, eating disorders, body image concerns, alcohol and drug abuse, anxiety, depression, identity and trauma, chronic disease, weight management - our therapists are here for you! We also have a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner available for medication management. If you are struggling, please contact Heart and Mind Counseling.
