I help students work through anxiety, depression, self-doubt, identity exploration, social challenges, and the impact of past experiences or trauma. I use approaches like CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy, along with a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective. Although these can be milestones for young adults, it can also bring questions and several emotions that can affect their daily life. Some people may experience anxiety and depression while in college as they adjust to life on campus and being away from their friends and families.
My client may be a person who currently feels stuck in their life, or dealing with chronic health issues, issues related to school, coming out, or dealing with depression and anxiety.
