Therapists for college students near 02139
Providing online mental health services to Massachusetts residents (18+) facing the challenges of college life and emerging adulthood. College presents both opportunities and challenges as you take up your life as an adult in the world. To help you meet those challenges, the Austen Riggs Center provides an online Intensive Outpatient Program. Our program delivers psychodynamic psychotherapy, medication management, and a combination of process groups, yoga, and coping skills to students whose struggles interfere with meeting the academic, social, and emotional challenges of higher education.
It's important to me to be someone my clients can trust to be nonjudgemental, validating, and interested in understanding them better. I hope to support clients in exploring their values and relationships; increasing feelings of self-esteem and self-efficacy; building skills to cope with distress and pain; and recovering from experiences of trauma and invalidation. I particularly enjoy working with clients who identify as highly sensitive or who experience emotional intensity.
At Karras Psychological Services, our goal is to empower you with the skills you need to live your best life. We use evidence-based techniques to help you identify and understand the reasons behind your roadblocks and work with you to overcome them. Hi there! I'm Heather, a proud Nurse Practitioner. I have been in practice as a prescriber since 2023, and worked in the mental health field in various settings for more than a decade prior as an RN. I work across the lifespan and with a variety of conditions. (Please note that at this time I am not prescribing controlled substances.) I believe in shared decision making and a person-centered approach to care; we're a team! I have a kind but direct approach to discussions and am solution-focused. I believe that medications are a tool, not a fix, so we will talk about a variety of interventions to support your wellness. You can expect that I will ask about your goals for care, and life, and that we will work together to meet those goals. I will sometimes assign "homework" to continue interventions outside of sessions in addition to any medication changes we may decide to make.
Are you struggling with the story of your life not being what you imagined? Are you experiencing symptoms that are getting in the way of the quality of life you deserve? At Hive Health, we believe healing is not one‑size‑fits‑all. Whether you’re a medical student carrying the weight of burnout, a young adult navigating life transitions, or a teen exploring your identity, you deserve care that sees the whole you. Like a hive, our well‑being is interconnected. When one part struggles, the whole system feels it. That’s why our approach is trauma‑informed, holistic, and culturally humble, addressing not just symptoms, but the deeper roots of stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout.
I've been working as an outpatient therapist for over 12 years and have found I work well with humans in their late teens/early 20's. I use humor and a dynamic approach to treatment and I've found I work well with people who are interested in making some type of change in their life.
Whether you are currently in crisis and/or have been wanting to unravel and alter unhelpful and possibly destructive patterns, I welcome your contact. I work with individuals and couples and have expertise in a wide-range of areas. These areas include, but are not limited to relationship conflicts, mood disorders, trauma, family of origin conflicts, medical conditions, LGBTQ+ related struggles, addiction and issues related to social justice. When appropriate, I encourage adjuncts to psychotherapy such as movement, creativity, pursuit of passion and related self-care. It can be a very courageous action to seek mental health treatment. We will go at a pace that is the right mix of comfortable and challenging. I have complete respect for who you are and what you are bringing to me now. The connection that develops between me and the people I work with is central to the healing and growth that takes place. I welcome your contact to explore whether we might be a good fit and/or to schedule an initial session.

Hi, I’m Andres De Leon, LICSW, founder of Atlas Behavioral Wellness. I provide compassionate, culturally responsive therapy for young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, and the impact of complex life experiences. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician with experience across multiple levels of care, I take an integrative and collaborative approach to treatment. My work combines evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT-informed interventions, behavioral activation, supportive therapy, and strengths-based care while also recognizing the importance of physical health, social stressors, and overall wellness. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or simply looking for support and personal growth, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and build meaningful change. Atlas Behavioral Wellness offers a holistic and person-centered approach to care, with services available virtually and in-person in Massachusetts, and telehealth services in Connecticut.
In my practice, I specialize in working with adults who often find themselves caught in recurring patterns in life. This could manifest as challenges with self-esteem, self-doubt, confidence, or a loss of identity. Through the therapeutic relationship, the aim is to deepen your understanding of yourself. Change can be a formidable task, and while gaining insight into your challenges is a significant step, fostering actual change and improving your relationship with yourself and others can present a different set of difficulties.

I work with adults (18+) and assist with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, work-related stress, substance use and more.
Hi, my practice is here to support those struggling with disordered eating, body image issues, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. Most of my clients come to me due to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, and have a feeling of just surviving. I utilize a variety of different modalities based on the individuals needs. I often will encourage clients to process feelings from the inside out this allows for a deeper connection to your authentic self and sets you up to have your needs met. Some practices I may use are mindfulness, breathing practices, brainspotting, and guided somatic practices.
