I believe that everyone deserves to be seen as a whole, complex person—not just defined by their past. In therapy, it’s important to me that clients feel fully understood and respected for who they are in all their layers. I'm really passionate about exploring the different parts of my clients' identities and how the world around them shapes their experiences. I take an approach that blends attachment, mindfulness, and cultural awareness. I truly believe that our childhood and adolescent experiences can give us important clues about our present behaviors and patterns. I also think that trauma can be passed down from generation to generation, both physically and mentally, and it’s something that often shows up in our lives in unexpected ways. I have a deep compassion for victims and survivors of emotional, physical, financial, sexual, and verbal abuse. I’m a strong advocate for raising awareness about intimate partner violence and unhealthy relationships. I work with clients to heal from their trauma, set healthy boundaries, and speak up for themselves. I want all my clients to feel empowered during their entire therapy journey, and I put a lot of importance on honoring their autonomy. I believe that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it’s my job to create a space where each person can find their own path to healing. I also love bringing in multicultural and diverse healing approaches. I offer a space where clients can bring their spiritual or religious beliefs into therapy if they choose. Creativity plays a big role in healing for me—whether it’s through visual arts, performing arts, writing, storytelling, music, or just being in nature. I think meditation can come in all sorts of forms, and I encourage clients to find what works for them. I’m certified in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), and I have experience in suicide prevention and intervention. I have specific, advanced training in Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), which is the gold standard for treating OCD. Outside of work, you can find me junk journaling or scrapbooking, doing yoga, styling clothes, or dancing around. I received both my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott College.

As a therapist, I specialize in supporting people who feel trapped by anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and past trauma. I work with clients of all ages who find themselves overwhelmed by fears, stuck in cycles of perfectionism, coping with life transitions, or navigating complex relationships. My main goal is to help create and cultivate a space that feels authentic and safe, and I draw on a bunch of different modalities (ACT, CBT, DBT) to meet my clients where they are at. I love working with students because I too was just a student, and I know firsthand the challenges of trying to meet external, academic pressures, navigate relationships, and trying to manage and balance mental health struggles. If you resonate with my approach or experience, please reach out :)

OMG! This college thing is HARD - everything from the application process, to balancing all my assignments and social life and different professors and roommates and my parents (and...!), to figuring out the best major and then actually trying to get a job applying what I've learned. Feel familiar? If the stress, anxiety, worry, and decisions you're juggling are overwhelming you and you are not functioning at your best level, maybe it's time to check out some other ways of managing all that's going on. In a very relaxed and safe space, you can meet with someone whose many years of professional experience guiding students through their major transitions are shared in a comfortable living room decor where jeans are the dress code. We will work as partners to discover and expand your strengths and resources so that you can move in the direction you want to go. And you will come to understand that "therapy" is not about fixing something that's broken but developing the strategies to make the most of what's within and around you. Hope to see you soon!

I graduated from Richmont Graduate University with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and a Certificate in Christian Sex Therapy. I have special interests in helping young adults navigate stresses that come with identity formation and navigating technology use and busy schedules. I have experience with a variety of issues and treatment approaches including but not limited to: personal growth, identity, self-esteem, expressive and creative therapies, EMDR, stress management, spiritual growth, depression, anxiety, issues of sexuality and sexual wholeness including sexual pain, trauma, and boundary issues.

Tiffany specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. She values helping clients with all aspects of their identity (i.e. race, sexuality, career, faith, social support, etc) and, of course, most mental health diagnoses. Her theoretical approach works to intertwine person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapies, with a feminist and liberation psychology emphasis. She prioritizes connecting with clients relationally to allow room for clients to be the expert on their experience, including their personality, strengths, and value systems. Additionally, with cognitive-behavioral therapy, it is her belief that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interconnected and that by managing to change one, it is likely that the others will follow suit. Her emphasis on feminist and liberation psychology perspectives allows for an exploration of how systemic issues (i.e., mass incarceration or employment laws) are affecting a client’s presenting problems. Tiffany believes in utilizing empowerment to allow for the client to explore the various ways they have power over aspects of their life and the larger community they can change. Because of her background in providing Child-Centered Play therapy, she has found the power in integrating expressive methods (i.e., art or journaling) into her clinical work to go beyond relying upon only traditional talk therapy.
You’ve spent so much time being who everyone needed you to be and have drifted away from who YOU need to be for YOU. On the outside everything looks fine… you’re the “strong” one, you’re handling “business”, and you show up for everyone. BUT On the inside you may wish you had a “you”, are experiencing guilt/shame that you’re not where you are supposed to be in life, or maybe you are feeling overwhelmed from overthinking every detail. At my practice, Bloom House Therapy and Wellness, I love guiding teen girls and women to see life from a new angle. I am a firm believer in the fact we teach people how to treat us, and I'm here to walk alongside you as you rediscover self-care and figure out how you want to treat yourself. Together, we'll silence that inner critic and build relationships that nourish your soul, empowering you to reach your full potential. My therapy style is authentic and down to earth, innovative, and empowering.
