What makes Restoration Psychology different? We know you have various options for treatment providers and therapy. Restoration Psychology is deeply committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive treatment for all people. We strive to help our clients restore mental well being and reduce psychological stress. We know that each individual and family has a unique set of needs and cultural values that can impact treatment. Our clinicians work hard to understand our clients from a bio-psycho-social- spiritual lens. We want to tailor each treatment approach to fit your needs. We are a full-service counseling center specializing in faith-based counseling through a unique bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens aimed at integrating the full self by renewing what has been damaged, revitalizing what has decayed, and rebuilding what has deteriorated. In order to do this, we must explore each aspect of the individual—their physical characteristics (race, ethnicity, health issues etc.), mental/emotional states, relationships with others (including family and community groups), and faith convictions. This allows us to take the first step of the journey toward restoration. Because spiritual belief influences one’s worldview, it also greatly influences the individual and is, therefore, an important aspect to be explored. We promise to work with you where you are, no matter your faith background. We will provide a safe space for you to confront any issues that arise in a judgment-free environment.

Heather A. Locke Counseling
I believe in the restorative power of hope. Over the course of my career I have been able to support clients to internalize the belief that they can make change in their lives. From focusing on eliminating inner negative chatter to processing an acute trauma, I strive to create opportunities for the achievement of one's goals. Through partnership, trust and the sharing of knowledge, real movement can occur. There is hope. Licensed as both a mental health and addictions specialist counselor, I work with both individuals and couples. I practice remotely in Colorado and Rhode Island. My practice approach starts with identifying how to begin shifting what isn't providing benefit, with behavioral, cognitive and emotional evolution. This is a strengths-based, collaborative process grounded in trust and respect. I completed my Master of Arts and Master of Education in Psychological Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University. My deep professional satisfaction is grounded in the experience of growth and recovery that clients obtain through our efforts. I am available for initial phone consultations to discuss your needs and how we might partner in your care.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, stress, or relationship challenges, our work together focuses on understanding your story and finding practical ways forward. My goal is to help you build insight, confidence, and resilience, so you can feel more grounded, connected, and capable in your daily life. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps, and are ready to find a way forward toward greater balance and fulfillment. Do you find yourself struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, addiction, or the impacts of trauma? I am a licensed therapist and addiction counselor dedicated to providing support to women and LGBTQ+ individuals, offering a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients can explore their experiences, identities, and mental health. With an understanding of the unique challenges faced by these groups, I am committed to empowering clients to live authentically and work through any obstacles they may encounter. I take a client-centered and holistic systems approach, which maintains that we all have the ability within ourselves to heal, and that our identities, environments, and experiences can have a big impact on our mental and physical well-being. I use a variety of clinical tools, including EMDR, to address the roots of problems, allowing you to move forward. I aim to leave clients feeling empowered by providing a supportive, safe, and affirming space where you can show up just as you are. Feeling like it's all just too much? Racing thoughts and constant worries that you just can't seem to stop? You feel restless, tired and anxious. Your partner doesn't seem to understand you. You have tried self-help books, groups or apps, but none of these are helping you to get where you want to be. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone. I am Katrin Segeletz. As an LPC in Colorado specializing in ADHD and Anxiety, I work with high-functioning women who have mastered the art of holding everything together, but at the expense of their own well-being. I've got you! Together, we'll create practical tools, strategies and systems tailored to your specific needs, aspirations and capacity. After working with me, clients don't just manage their symptoms better - they relate to themselves differently! Instead of feeling "broken" they experience a growing sense of self-trust, clarity and internal calm. In our sessions we do more than just talk, we get results. But this is not another place to perform, it's a place where you can be yourself. Whether we are crying through the hard moments or laughing through your successes, I will be by your side. Let's find your way back to joy. Reach out for a free consultation today.

As an Asian American female with immigrant parents, navigating being a minority, assimilating into society and finding my cultural identity was a difficult time in my life. Unresolved childhood trauma and attachment issues are root causes that make us who we are - but that doesn’t mean we can’t work to change those maladaptive patterns you learned growing up… Do you also experience generational and childhood trauma, cultural expectations that don’t always align with societal norms, low self-worth and people pleasing behaviors? Do you want to change the way you react when your feelings get the best of you? Do you want to figure out the root cause of your anxiety or depression and heal your hurt inner child? Stop the cycle and be the first one in your family to start this healing journey. I’ll challenge and support you to help identify triggers, behaviors and feelings connected to past relationships or experiences in order to change the patterns that hinder you from being your best self. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 14 years of acute care nursing experience across various settings, I have come to appreciate the complexities of the human experience and the importance of prioritizing our mental health. I approach each individual holistically, with a desire to understand their unique experience, current struggles, and hopes for the future in order to build a personalized and collaborative treatment approach. Being human is a dynamic and challenging process, and it is my goal to help you navigate difficult times to reach a space of fulfillment and resilience. My specialties include the evaluation and treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, gender identity, bipolar, and other mood disorders for children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. Mental health is the foundation that allows you to live a full and steady life, and my goal is to create a safe space where we can work together to stabilize and build upon that foundation. That’s why my approach is warm, curious, compassionate, and collaborative, drawing on evidence-based practice while always considering the unique person in front of me and their specific goals. Seeking mental health care is a vulnerable process, and it can feel daunting and scary. I want our time together to feel like a warm, open-minded space, one where I can bring hope, joy, and a little humor into the work. Alongside my clinical knowledge, I'll bring your specific needs and goals to the table, and together we'll build a treatment plan that feels manageable. From there, we'll navigate the process with curiosity and flexibility, in a way that's uniquely yours. Together, as a team, we'll find a path forward. My path to becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner was shaped by years spent at the bedside of patients as a nurse. Time and again, I noticed how often mental health concerns were dismissed or went unaddressed. Seeing this, and knowing there was only so much I could do to help within that role, is what compelled me to become a PMHNP. I was also raised in a military family, having lived all over the country and the world, and I'm sensitive to the impact of ethnicity, culture, and environment on mental health. Additionally, as a member of a marginalized community, I bring compassion and understanding to the interplay between societal constraints and mental health. When I'm not with patients, I enjoy staying active, spending time in nature, and connecting with close friends. I love visiting family and my nieces, and traveling to experience new cultures, foods, and perspectives.
