Everyone struggles with relationship issues, anxiety/worry, work stress, substance use, or uncomfortable feelings. It can also be extremely difficult to find balance and perspective sometimes. My goal is to provide a safe and organized framework for identifying these problems and developing new skills or ways of thinking about them. Ultimately, I help my clients develop the tools needed to manage independently and live a life they're excited about. Due to the current state of the world, I'm also working with a lot of individuals who are feeling isolated and cut off from their "normal" support systems to help them manage life's issues. I grew up in the Dallas area, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in psychology. I then attended graduate school at Assumption University because of its affiliation with the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy. My clinical training was thus focused on a cognitive behavioral approach to treating mental health disorders like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder as well as substance abuse issues. I was also intensively trained during my internship in Dialectical-Behavior Therapy and I utilize this skills-based approach to help adolescents and adults struggling to build and maintain relationships, manage their emotions or crises effectively. My approach to therapy is problem-focused and very much operates in the present. I collaborate with clients to identify goals, develop skills, and implement them in a structured way. The area of focus in therapy tends to be on reframing thoughts or changing behaviors with the end goal of improving mood or circumstance.
Do you find yourself fighting with negative thoughts? We all go through life, experiencing difficulties that shape us in different ways. These changes can make following a healthy lifestyle difficult, including adding to these negative thoughts. I believe that understanding and accepting your life experiences is key to returning to a healthy lifestyle. Drawing from my personal struggles with mental health and neurodivergence, I take a highly personalized approach to therapy. I primarily practice person-centered talk therapy, while integrating Acceptance and Commitment, EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to tailor our sessions to your personal needs. I understand that reaching out for help can be challenging, but I strive to maintain a judgment-free space where you can express whatever is on your mind. If you’re ready to take the next step, please feel free to email or call me anytime during the week. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey towards healing and growth!

Anxiety can manifest itself in a variety of different ways, such as people-pleasing behaviors, fear, perfectionism, and a general feeling of dissatisfaction. If you're feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about your next steps, our individual therapy services can help. Hi, I’m Regina (she/her), a queer, neurodivergent therapist who believes healing happens in spaces where you’re truly seen and affirmed. I bring compassion, curiosity, and a healthy dose of irreverence into the therapy room, and I deeply value the trust it takes to show up authentically—especially when the world hasn’t always made space for who you are. I primarily work with women and nonbinary adults—especially those who are late-diagnosed neurodivergent, part of the LGBTQ+ community, or navigating non-traditional relationships (like ENM or kink). If you're untangling trauma, questioning your place in a society that often feels hostile or broken, or working to rebuild self-worth in a neurotypical, cis-hetero world—you’re in the right place. My approach is eclectic and collaborative. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet your unique needs, rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all mold. This work isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about reconnecting with your values, making meaning, and feeling more at home in your own mind and body. If you’re looking for a therapist who affirms your identity, respects your complexity, and understands what it means to feel like an outsider—I’d be honored to walk with you. Schedule a free consultation so we can chat about whether I’d be a good fit.

I am a therapist with 13 years experience who recently relocated to Maryland. I have specialized my work in the medical setting with those with chronic illnesses and have also cared for many in the LGBTQI+ community. I enjoy providing counseling to pre-teens, teens and young adults. I have had the privilege to witness the most vulnerable moments with my clients and then observe their growth, healing, and evolution. I would be honored to play a role in your journey too. The idea of therapy is challenging for some. I focus on meeting my clients at their comfort level and prioritize their personal goals and needs. I utilize evidence-based modalities: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Both of these examine the connections between thoughts, feelings and actions to help individuals make changes in their life. I also have training in: Emotional Freedom Technique, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Internal Family Systems I believe that counseling should capitalize on the client’s creativity, imagination, and interests. Therefore, I often encourage artistic expression and the use of physical movement to address depressive symptoms, anxiety, and the challenges of grief and loss. Let’s work together to tailor an approach based upon your unique strengths and areas of need. I am only self-pay at this time. I am in the process of being paneled with Carefirst/BCBS (PPO, POS, HMO and Federal plans) and Johns Hopkins Hospital EHP (However, if you have a different insurance plan and it offers out-of-network benefits, you should receive some.)
Dr. Grabow’s approach to therapy is aimed at helping clients expand their capacity for well-being by exploring formative life experiences, focusing on how emotions are understood and managed, fostering mindfulness, and identifying values. She strives to develop a relationship with each client that is collaborative, authentic, whole-hearted, and empowering.
I have a passion for working with youth who are navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, substance use, and other mental health issues. I'm specifically honored to serve LGBTQiA+ folks as a proud member of the queer community myself. I love helping anyone tap into their autonomy, self-love, find their strengths, and accomplish their goals. I practice harm reduction, which helps people determine how to do what they want to do (whether that be coming out as transgender or non-binary, building community, sexual exploration, drug use, etc.) to their own level of comfort and safety at their own pace. I provide a collaborative and open approach to therapy without any judgement. You are in the driver's seat and determine what the destination is. I'm just in the passenger's seat with a stack of maps, helping you find your path.
