Hello! I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, and love working with college students. I work well with students who want to develop more coping methods for anxiety and stress, and/or students who may be experiencing difficulty adjusting to college life - socially and/or academically. I have years of experience working with college athletes, both as a college baseball coach, and in student-athlete academic support. I am passionate about helping athletes develop skills for dealing with stress and anxiety, both on and off the field.

We all deserve lives full of joy, opportunity and love. Too often though, we find ourselves in places or periods where these basic needs feel scarce. They may even feel blocked all together, sometimes in ways or for reasons that are outside of our control. Working from a stance of curiosity, compassion, and non-judgment, my hope is to partner with you in building the skills and tools to navigate whatever life throws at you. Through our work together, I will aim to support you in fostering the vulnerability to love yourself and others, the strength to approach pain, and the flexibility to touch meaning and passion even on your hardest days. I ground my practice in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and other mindfulness-based practices. While I’m excited to work with clients navigating a wide variety of issues, I specialize in supporting clients who are navigating experiences of hopelessness or powerlessness to build out lives with more meaning, space, and joy. This includes those struggling with self-harm and suicidality, trauma, anxiety, and depression, as well as those looking to increase self-compassion. If it sounds like I might be a good fit for you, give me a call or a text! We can schedule a consultation and talk through what you’re looking for. Alternatively, if you would like to know more about me, my background, or training before reaching out, feel free to check out my website.
Hello, my name is Traci Boyle-Galestiantz (she/her). Life, relationships and finding our way can be challenging in 10,000 ways and support with navigating those challenges is something we all need and deserve. I have worked with families and individuals in all stages of life; while working through major or minor transitions, healing from trauma, loneliness, grief and the struggles of personal development. My roles as a social worker have ranged from crisis line counselor, support group facilitator, restraining order advocate, shelter worker, and educator. The theories that most guide my practice are based in a client centered strengths based approach. I am an avid LGBTQ+ ally and care deeply about racial and social justice. You’re different from those around you. You sometimes feel stuck in patterns that don't work anymore, but you don't know what else you're supposed to do. Maybe you are adjusting to being in school here in the US, and the cultural differences between you and your professors, worry about what’s happening at home, and struggling to find comfort in an impermanent place. I can help. My ideal clients are hard working and driven, both by your own strengths and a desire to make your family and maybe even your country of origin proud. I work with students struggling with anxiety, trauma, ADHD and attention troubles, conflict with family and friends and figuring out systems that work for them. I love working with queer and trans students especially on figuring out how you can make space in your academic field of interest as a queer person. I provide compassionate, trauma-aware, attachment-focused therapy to help clients heal from trauma, manage their ADHD, and reduce anxiety. I love working with international students in college and university: you’re here to make the world better and are dedicated to your education and career. As an Adult Third Culture Kid (TCK) I especially want to serve that community. I also am LGBTQ+ affirming and polyamory-aware. I am Jewish and like supporting Jewish students navigate tradition, spirituality and living with non-Jews for the first time, and am comfortable supporting Hindu, Muslim, Sikh & Buddhist clients, as well as clients from other religions and traditions. I can help you make meaning of your time here, and work on developing coping skills for worry, loneliness and sadness. I use parts work, mindfulness, emotion regulation skill building and story telling (IFS, DBT, Narrative, Emotion Focused and EMDR, for folks who like a little jargon) to help clients heal trauma, work through conflict and build a better life for themselves.
Hello and welcome! I'm looking forward to working with you as you navigate your college experience. I work with undergraduate and graduate students on issues related to anxiety, depression, relationships, and gender identity/sexual orientation. I can help with issues both inside and outside the classroom. My goal is to empower you to feel confident in addressing the challenges in your life!
Are you struggling with feeling disconnected from your life and the things that are important to you? Do you feel lost and unsure of the next steps you'd like to take in your life? It is so difficult when life throws pain and suffering your way, when you feel you have little control amidst chaos and stress, or when you feel stuck in routines and habits that are no longer working for you. It takes courage to recognize when you need a change, to take the steps you need to honor yourself, and to help yourself move forward in ways that are most aligned with how you want to live your life. Therapy can help you acknowledge, honor, and create space for painful experiences while also cultivating a sense of well-being and a life you're proud of. Our work will focus on valued living - living a life that is consistent with who you are, what's important to you, what you want to stand for, and how you want to move through this world, despite hardship. I strive to create a safe space for you to explore where you are at in life, where you want to go, and how we can get you there together. I’ll walk alongside you (and cheer you on!) as you realize your own strengths, connect to your values, and begin living life in the ways that are most meaningful to you. You've come to the right place - let's talk. Note: I am exclusively providing services online at this time.
I specialize in working with individuals who are seeking to manage their anxiety, help with their performance and heal from past trauma. The approach I use in therapy is one that is deeply relational, mixed with the latest interventions that embrace a holistic point of view. I'm trained in nervous system interventions, as well as EMDR, and often utilize a collaborative approach to help clients meet their goals.

Are you experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loneliness, life stressors such as work, college, relationships, or a major life transition? Maybe you're exploring your identity (cultural, racial, life roles, etc.), a child of immigrants, adjusting to disability, or navigating neurodivergence. If any of these things resonate, we may be a good fit to work together. Additionally, I'm drawn to working with those who identify as Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) and find themselves feeling out of place, overwhelmed, or unseen. My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and flexible. I draw from a range of approaches to help you better understand yourself, notice patterns in thoughts and relationships, and build on your strengths. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just carrying a lot on your own, you’re welcome to reach out for a free consultation. I offer a space to slow down, sort through what’s coming up for you, feel heard, and seen. I’ll meet you where you are, when you're ready.
Are you struggling to find your purpose or understand the direction your life is taking? Do you grapple with questions of identity or acceptance? Does uncertainty often cloud your thoughts? If any of this resonates with you, or if you're seeking a deeper understanding of your life, I am here to guide you on your journey. I understand the profound importance of finding representation and connecting with someone who shares or understands similar narratives. It can be challenging to trust that a therapist truly relates to your experiences, especially during life’s most difficult moments. I specialize in supporting BIPOC and LGBTQI+ communities, as well as individuals living with SPMI. My approach integrates mindfulness, trauma-informed care, CBT, and other evidence-based practices to address your unique needs. Together, we will collaborate to identify and outline those needs in a safe and supportive environment. My life mantra is: Every day is a teaching moment. Each action and experience presents an opportunity to grow, learn, and evolve. With these moments, we are gifted tools that help guide us forward. Let’s uncover those tools and embark on this transformative journey together.

My clinical practice is trauma informed and person centered. I enjoy working with people who are navigating difficulties related to major life transitions, sexual and gender identity development, conflicts within their family of origin, relationship issues and surviving and healing from trauma. I also value and strive to work effectively across cultural, ethnic and racial identities. I am EMDR trained, Internal Family Systems informed and believe strongly in the power of relationships to both form who we are and to heal. I received my MSW degree in 2010 from Smith School for Social Work in Northampton, MA. I have over 13 years of experience providing mental health care in different settings, including Portland State University Counseling Services. 15 minutes free phone consultations available and encouraged. New client slots available starting September 5th, 2023. Currently only offering Telehealth, with potential in-person appointments in the future.
I provide individual teletherapy for adults across the state of Oregon. I have a passion for helping people heal from trauma, decrease anxiety, and improve their self-esteem. Before patients come to see me, they “feel bad” almost reflexively and frequently experience high anxiety. They are wracked with feelings of guilt and may be afraid of upsetting people. They often over-extend themselves in the name of service to others. On the outside, my clients look like they have it together but feel internally like they are just treading water. If that sounds familiar, you’ve come to the right place. Counseling may be for you if: You find it easier to focus on other’s emotions and needs than on your own. You like to think and are insightful, but don’t always know how to feel. You have difficulty experiencing emotions beyond an overwhelming sense of guilt or just “feeling bad.” You feel resentful that other people don’t work as hard as you, but are terrified to ask for what you want or need from others. You are often anxious or tense; relaxation and rest feel nearly impossible. You feel trapped by family pressures or relationships that refuse to evolve. I specialize in treating trauma (especially complex or childhood trauma), anxiety, and difficulties with self-esteem.
