PeriAnne believes that we all have the ability to embrace our vulnerabilities, opening ourselves up to experience our true self. It can be difficult work, but also rewarding. The choice of trusting to start the journey is yours. PeriAnne has had a passion for people from a young age, graduating from Central Michigan University with a degree in Psychology, she went on to earn her Masters in Marriage and Family therapy from Western Michigan University. PeriAnne is a Limited Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Hi, I’m Lexi Rosansky. I’m a dedicated social worker with a passion for supporting children, families, and individuals navigating early adulthood. In my therapeutic work, I take a warm, client-centered approach, creating a safe, relaxed space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Establishing a strong working relationship is essential to positive therapeutic outcomes. I firmly believe that therapy works best when you match well on a personal level. Adjusting to college is hard. There's a lot of pressure to do well academically, socially, personally...and it can be helpful to have an unbiased person to vent to and talk about what you're struggling with. I specialize in treating individuals struggling with primary and secondary trauma. I use a multifaceted approach to therapy to meet my clients where they are and to suit their individual needs, whether trauma is a main focus or not.

When life goes differently than anticipated you may be left grieving, feeling disconnected from life, or from yourself. You deserve to have a compassionate space to process and honor your experiences. Together, we'll explore the narratives woven through your life, understanding how past experiences continue to shape your present reality. We will reconnect you to your power, build resiliency, and learn to use your voice to live your life more authentically. With a relationship built with trust and compassion, you're invited to explore your deepest truths, express your fears, and bravely write a new story for your life. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and your voice, experiences, and perspective are central to our work together. Depending on your needs, we'll examine how family, gender, culture, and social expectations have influenced your sense of self, relationships, and aspirations. I draw from a variety of frameworks including Feminist, Narrative, and Family Systems. Reaching out is hard. If it scares you, you're not alone. You may try considering if your fear is saying "now's not the right time" or if its something more akin to "what will this change in my life". Curiosity, excitement, & the adrenaline of taking "the next step" can feel scary. Whatever you decide, trust you're right on time in your own journey.

I work with college students and adults who are navigating stress, anxiety, academic pressures, relationships, and life transitions. I take a collaborative and supportive approach, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals. Some clients choose to explore EMDR, and I’m trained to use it when it fits, but many find our sessions helpful through conversation, reflection, and practical coping strategies. I aim to create a space where students feel understood and empowered, whether you’re struggling with burnout, uncertainty about the future, or past experiences that continue to affect your life. I accept BCBS of Michigan and BCN and offer telehealth sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays to make therapy accessible and easy to fit into a busy schedule.

I am currently accepting clients on a short-term basis for crisis counseling. Sliding scale and pro bono services available. My availability is flexible and I offer in person (East Lansing) and Telehealth. I work to help people navigate their complex worlds in order to live a healthier, happier life. I believe that all components of one's life are interrelated. Stress, crisis, life changes and uncertainty happen to everyone, often without warning. When crisis or chaos strike, it is comforting to have someone listen in a safe, open, non-judgmental space in which you can uncover the inner strengths and skills you already possess. I work with clients to create this environment, through which genuine healing, change, and self-empowerment can occur.

Cannon Wellness Collective PLLC is passionate about helping others navigate challenges in life. The owner, Nedra Cannon, has been in the field working with college age students, clients who have navigated racial trauma, sex therapy, in need of DBT, EMDR, and CBT. Thinking about seeking mental health counseling? First, you need to find a counselor you can trust and someone you feel "gets you". Being truthful and vulnerable are keys to good work. You need to feel free to address your concerns, fears, grief, shame, hurt, etc. We go the extra mile to help support positive change. It takes courage to face and embrace change. We are currently accepting new telehealth clients. We enjoy working with people who are navigating sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, racial trauma, and phase of life matters. We strongly advocate for mental health and support one's journey in seeking help. We work from a holistic perspective to address the relationship between one’s mind, body, and special condition in order to achieve the desired outcome. We are committed to a strength-based perspective in our clinical practice as a way to support and encourage self-motivation and the clients that are served.

Matthew serves as a companion to those who desire to experience healing, growth, and transformation in their pursuit of the full human experience. He works to offer a space of mutual, compassionate, and empathetic listening to the story your life is telling. Matthew believes that the opportunity to work with you is a sacred privilege, and is committed to discovering a shared process in therapy that honors who you are, your background, and your future path. Practicing therapy with Matthew may include focusing on developing tools and practices to help manage emotions and thoughts, support in healing from past experiences, assistance developing healthier behavioral patterns, and/or establishing new values. However, there is not one therapeutic approach that fits all, which is why he works closely with you to identify your own needs and goals. Matthew is experienced primarily in individual work with adolescents and adults from all backgrounds and genders, in areas related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, interpersonal conflict, identity exploration, finding belonging, discovering purpose, grief/loss, and religious and spiritual questions [and related trauma]. Matthew graduated with a Masters in Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 2024. He is also a graduate of Kuyper College [BS], Cornerstone Theological Seminary [MA], and the Living School for Action and Contemplation. His experience living internationally and attending two universities in multi-cultural and inter-religious environments has deeply shaped how he engages individuals from a diversity of circumstances and backgrounds. Matthew’s professional and academic emphasis on restorative justice practices, as well as the unique cognitive, developmental, and mental health needs of people of all ages has deepened his ability to foster effective therapeutic environments and meaningful relationships with clients. Matthew believes that our growth as people cannot be manufactured or controlled, and is therefore something we can only cooperate with and bear witness to. For many, the journey and practice of our work together becomes an outcome in itself. While Matthew is a generalist when it comes to theoretical orientation, he naturally integrates person-centered, narrative, existential, humanist, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment approaches.

Life is full of challenges, which I view as opportunities for growth and learning. I've worked with college students on MSU's campus for nearly 10 years which has given me a depth of understanding to the unique challenges you face. I join alongside clients who are facing a wide range of issues including: navigating life transitions, interpersonal relationship conflicts, academic or professional challenges, adjusting to changes at home or in the family structure, exposure to abuse or neglect, establishing boundaries in relationships, healing from past trauma, and navigating grief and loss. We are all on our own journeys and I welcome the opportunity to join you on yours. Our work together will be interactive and reflective, with a healthy mix of challenge and humor. We will collaborate to find the approach that best meets your needs, and your feedback and input is an essential part of the process. I incorporate a trauma-informed lens to my work and seek to understand how past experiences have shaped our current disposition and automatic responses. I am committed to providing treatment that is anti-racist, culturally responsive and affirming. My practice is client-centered and strengths-based. I utilize a warm, accepting and compassionate approach. Taking the first step of reaching out to a therapist can feel daunting, so let's take this next step together. We all have times in our lives when things start to feel too heavy to navigate alone. I am passionate about working with folks experiencing challenges with anxiety and/or OCD. I also specialize in grief and feel honored to support clients in learning how to carry what can't be fixed. I'm a firm believer that just as we care for our physical health, our mental health deserves the same attention, understanding, and compassion. I take a human-centered approach, honoring the identities that shape who you are and the systems you navigate, creating a space for healing and meaningful change. My primary goal as a therapist is to create a safe environment, rooted in curiosity, for clients to feel empowered and know they are not alone. With my office based in Grand Rapids, I offer in-person and virtual sessions for people in the state of Michigan. Feel free to reach out to me by phone or email, whichever you prefer.
