I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing a multitude of challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, disability/chronic illness, identity exploration, and challenges with self-esteem. This can include family/relationship issues, life transitions (including college/early adulthood), or identity formation. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, especially women with ADHD. Supporting LGBTQ+ mental health from an intersectional lens is another focus. I also have an interest in working with clients who are exploring immigrant experience, family dynamics, and generational trauma. I previously worked in college counseling (at Wellesley College) and residential life (at Harvard College), so I'm well-attuned to the specific experiences and challenges of college student life! As a relational psychodynamic therapist, I believe that our experiences are shaped by our relationships with ourselves, other people, and the world at large. My work is informed by feminist, queer, disability, and critical race theory. I also integrate narrative therapy, which allows us to reimagine the stories we tell about ourselves and our lives. I am deeply attentive to how identity and marginalization can impact one's experiences and movement through the world. In my work, I strive for a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive, and socially just practice. I meet clients with curiosity, warmth, and nuance to explore their experiences, relationships, and challenges. My goal is to co-create a welcoming and supportive space in which clients can tell/retell their stories, appreciate their strengths, and work towards their goals

I'm a genderqueer & neurodivergent pet parent. Also a psychologist who practices the neuroaffective relational model (NARM®) through an anti-oppressive & queer liberation lens. Hoping for a future that feels a lot less oppressive and a lot more liberating for every single one of us. Supporting those at the intersections healing from internalized shame, oppression based & complex trauma. We will hold space for the impact of oppression while also centering your hopes for yourself. Many of the queer, trans & nonbinary adults I serve also also hold lived experiences of the following: a) neurodivergence like ADHD & autism; b) body stuff such as disability, chronic pain, & chronic illness c) race & cultural backgrounds including BIPOC, 1st-2nd gen immigrants, or mixed race/light skin; & d) those in marginalized bodies who are fighting against diet culture & weight loss industrial complex in a world that pushes body size & shape modification at all turns (e.g., trans students struggling with disordered eating recovery & fat folks trying to ground in fat liberation). I am a certified NARM therapist (Neuroaffective Relational Model), as well as a certified Body Trust Provider. My approach centers radical healing through an anti oppressive lens, cultivating shame resilience and self compassion. This includes exploring identity and navigating those 'not good enough' or 'too much' experiences that tend to trigger shame. Clinical 1:1 services via telehealth only for adults located in MA and RI, as well as telehealth in PsyPACT locations (e.g., CO, WA, IL, MD, VT, DC, MN, & CT). Only see 5-12 clients weekly. Though not a specialty, I occasionally support families, couples, and polycules. Limited availability for Tufts University Student Health Plan (UHCSR carveout). Others tend to use their out of network outpatient mental health insurance benefits for partial reimbursement. Check website to view up to date availability & complete inquiry form (website address /inquiry) - Body Trust™ provider = Anti Diet, Fat Positive, HAES informed. Esp for those healing from the harms of weight loss & diet industrial complexes. - NARM = NeuroAffective Relational Model (website /NARM) - Anti G3nocide here & abroad. - Quarterly newsletter announces openings, offerings, & trans-focused liberation (website /newsletter) Note: I also offer non-clinical & professional services for those in any location including virtual community spaces, workshops, coaching, consultation, training, and supervision.

I am committed to provide LGBTQ+ and BIPOC centered care. One on one psychotherapy based on clients’ strengths and growth points at a collaborated pace. I support clients who need support navigating life transitions, anxiety, relationships/dating, identity-related challenges, imposter syndrome work/life balance and neurodiversity. My clinical training focused on providing trauma-informed culturally conscious therapy to clients who come from many walks of life and intersecting identities, while utilizing kindness, metaphors and a bit of humor in my therapy sessions. I’ve worked in the mental health field since 2016, and am professionally licensed in Massachusetts. I use different counseling modalities based on what clients presented needs such as evidence-based approach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person Centered, Multicultural, and Strength-Based Therapy. You may be in a time full of worry and uncertainty, it's okay to want the support of deep connections with others. Therapy can be a place to heal, to learn, to grow, to transform, and to feel seen. I offer a free, 15 minute consultation to discuss what you'd like to gain from therapy and to tell you more about what I can offer in your therapy journey.

You are NOT alone! Navigating college is hard alone. Trying to do it during a pandemic has been just brutal! I have been working in a college counseling center for the past 14 years, and continue to do so. I recognize that not all students have access to services at their college and hope that I might be able to support those students by filling in the gap. With more than 20 years of working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, I am here to support those ready to take the next steps in prioritizing their mental health. With kindness, compassion, humor and focus, my goal is to provide guidance, perspective and insight in focusing on achievable steps to identify and strengthen your own skills to help you navigate any of the challenges or goals you are ready to tackle. The same way in which we will turn to others for information and encouragement when addressing physical pain or recovery from injury, my goal is to provide an environment that is holistic, collaborative and forward focused to help you achieve the healthy balance, life, relationships, etc. that you deserve! Teletherapy helps you achieve noteworthy milestones and saves time, money, and energy over traditional in-person therapy. When you are ready, let's unpack, explore and understand where you have been, where you are and where you want to get to!

I believe that everyone has the strength and resilience already in themselves to overcome challenges, navigate difficult circumstances, and have meaningful connections with others. My approach to therapy is strength-based, holistic, and largely focuses on using mindfulness-based techniques and practices. In the last 14 years I have had the privilege to work with a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, and lived experiences. I've had the privilege to work with first generation college students, international students, adult learners pursuing a second career, and younger students adjusting to independent life and college for the first time. In the past 4 years I have specialized in in working with college and graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in the health sciences field. I understand how challenging it can be to navigate these stressful times and how difficult it can be to find a balance between taking care of yourself and reaching your academic potential. It can get better and I'd like to help.

Life's challenges can leave us feeling off-balance. As a therapist, I offer a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, reflect and begin to reconnect with yourself as you navigate anxiety, burnout and life transitions. I work closely with individuals from early to late adulthood. I often work with first-generation high achievers who carry strong internal pressure to succeed, manage high expectations and navigate what it means to be “the first” in their family or community. These experiences can bring pride but also anxiety, perfectionism, burnout and a sense of disconnection or uncertainty about where you’re headed. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, career uncertainty, relationship challenges or major life transitions, including midlife and aging-related changes such as shifting roles, identity questions and reassessing priorities over time. My approach is collaborative, transparent and grounded in trauma-informed and evidence-based practices. I draw from CBT, mindfulness and insight-oriented frameworks always tailoring therapy to your unique experiences and goals. I aim to help you develop practical strategies while also deepening your self-understanding so that change feels meaningful and sustainable. At Equilibria Counseling, we strive to create a space where you can show up as you are.

I am a comprehensive, seasoned therapist. I work with all issues, big or small. With me, you could: fix or resolve issues, reduce stress, get clarity, learn to regulate emotions, sort through life plans, heal emotional wounds, eliminate symptoms, discuss root issues, unpack deep truths, explore existential meaning, or get support. You will discover why things are how they are, and how to change. You will obtain tools and methods for implementing changes, while decreasing barriers to change. Whatever your reasons are for therapy, my goal is to help you so you can experience a more enjoyable life. I specialize in finding frustrating stuck places, including areas of ambivalence, ruminations, and spiral thinking, and give people the tools/methods for change. I use techniques from many sources. With 15 years of practice, I am confident you'll obtain the results you want and need. I am straightforward and real with people, with a warm, caring edge. Sometimes pain is overwhelming, especially as a young adult. You might be feeling sad, worried, or like no one else in the world understands. Maybe you are struggling in school or work, or having a hard time making friends. Or maybe you are in a difficult family situation, or are completely overwhelmed by what you want your future to be like. Regardless of where your pain is from, you may be noticing things like withdrawing from others or even physically harming yourself because you haven’t found better ways to cope with your feelings. Or maybe you’ve just noticed that you’re having more anxiety or sadness than usual. However you are experiencing your pain right now, I welcome the opportunity to work with you to form new patterns and explore the pain that lies underneath your current ones. Difficulties in life sometimes can’t be avoided, but you don’t have to face them alone. If we work together, you will have the opportunity to explore your thoughts and emotions in a caring atmosphere. We can think together about what might best help you work through the difficulties you are facing so that you can begin creating a life for yourself that is both enjoyable and fulfilling. I like to find creative ways to help you express your thoughts and what you need. For some people that can be talking about thoughts and feelings directly and learning about coping skills, but it can also include artwork or even finding memes that resonate with you. One of my goals is to use what you already enjoy and find helpful to personalize our work to fit you. My sessions are feedback-informed. During our first session, we will talk about which approaches might work best for you and talk about what our future sessions might look like. Throughout our work together, we will check in about what is working well and what changes you might want to make to help our time to feel more effective and supportive. I invite you to explore my website for more information on working with me as well as my background and training. I welcome you contacting me with questions or to talk about if I might be a good fit to work with you.

I work best with high-functioning adults and students who seem put together on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or burned out on the inside. Many are caregivers, first-generation professionals, or cycle-breakers navigating pressure, perfectionism, family expectations, or relationship stress. They’re thoughtful and motivated for growth. They want practical tools to manage stress and set boundaries, while also understanding deeper patterns that keep them stuck. If you’re tired of just surviving and ready to feel more grounded and intentional, we’ll likely be a good fit. Therapy with me is warm, culturally responsive, and focused on helping you build skills and create real, lasting change.

I'm a MA licensed mental health counselor providing telehealth therapy. I've worked with teens, college students, and young adults in a multitude of capacities throughout my career.
