Are you searching for a genuine, deep healing experience on your path to wholeness that combines modern and traditional methods? I work with people of all backgrounds who have experienced trauma, depression, and/or anxiety to access their innate resilience and healing. Trauma can include any experience overwhelming to the nervous system. I work with my clients to create an environment built on trust, safety, compassion, and positive regard in order to develop the capacity to expand empathy, resilience, and self-confidence. Many clients find it helpful to anchor our work in the present moment using mindfulness breathing. I am well-trained in a diverse and integrated set of strategies including EMDR, emotionally-focused psychodynamic processing, CBT, DBT, group therapy, Jungian dream analysis, mindfulness, and relational techniques. Finally, I employ advanced harm reduction skills to treat substance misuse including advanced motivational interviewing skills. Complimenting you on your natural strengths even in the midst of life’s challenges is crucial to fostering hope. The bedrock of my professional work is genuineness, professionalism, and helping you find your natural resources. I invite you to reach out by phone or email for a free consultation! Please note: I am only accepting referrals for waitlist. With nine years experience in the field, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults to treat a variety of needs, including mental health disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, family and relationship dynamics, and adjustment to life changes/stresses. I believe everyone has the potential for healing and growth that is personally meaningful to them. I have a grounded and positive attitude in sessions, and a collaborative and strengths-based therapeutic approach. I emphasize anti-oppressive practices, and I am a gender-affirming therapist with a passion and expertise for working with transgender, non-binary, and LGBQ+ communities. I use person-centered, narrative, and cognitive behavioral therapy interventions to provide personalized and integrative treatment for each client. I have extensive training and experience in working with trans clients, including support with gender dysphoria and providing assessment and documentation for gender-affirming medical care. Therapy is a partnership between client and therapist on a journey of healing and transformation. As your therapist, it is a privilege to support you in gaining insight and resolution to achieve the change you want within yourself, in your relationships, and in your life. I look forward to discussing how we can work together to achieve your goals.

As a neurodivergent clinician, I have found myself particularly well suited to working with clients with ADHD, AuDHD, PTSD, PDA and/or who are autistic. I also have over a 15 years of experience working with trauma survivors and LGBTQ+ communities. Many of my clients found past experiences of talk therapy unhelpful or helpful only as “maintenance” while larger issues were neglected. I focus on two specific therapies, EMDR and IFS, that go deeper to address underlying issues. I also center the unique needs of neurodivergent clients and include ways to help manage distress and recognize stressors. For many neurodivergent clients, therapy approaches such as CBT have backfired. For example, treating autistic burnout with strategies from CBT to manage depression can actually worsen exhaustion and burnout. Similarly, using exposure therapy to address anxiety primarily caused by social and sensory issues related to ADHD or autism may cause further distress. I center neurodivergent experiences in my approach to therapy and help clients explore strategies to reduce sensory and emotional overload and recover from burnout. If you are finding yourself spending your energy just trying to get through the day, it is time to start working towards a better future. Let's work together to help you level up your life.

Hi! My name is Rachel Hammond, LPC, LMHC, ATR. I am a licensed counselor and registered art therapist currently serving women virtually in Massachusetts and Louisiana. The journey looks different for everyone and, with that in mind, I tailor my work to include a variety of modalities. I integrate mindfulness practice, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) approaches into sessions, incorporating the whole self as a means to heal. Progress isn’t always linear; however, I do believe we all inherently have within us the ability to heal and grow. I take great care in helping women overcome anxiety and self-doubt, serving as a guide for my clients to dig deeper and explore strategies to lead aligned, fulfilling lives.

You are smart and capable but are struggling right now. Emotions are coming up that are uncomfortable and are making the life you want to live just harder. Whether it's old stuff like self-esteem or new stuff like grief or cultural adjustment, I work with you to help you get back on a healthier and happier path. I work with you in a very active yet nurturing manner. My style is direct, compassionate, yet a bit playful at times. :) You are unique and every therapist is not a perfect match for everyone. Due to that, I give a free 50-minute consultation prior to us committing to work together. Two things to know about my practice is that I am online only and that I am not on insurance panels (if you have out-of-network benefits, that might help with the cost). If you think we might be a good match, check out my website and then reach out for a consultation. :)

Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Philadelphia, PA

Hi! I'm Yasmine. I work clinically with adolescents, teenagers, and young adults grappling with issues ranging from anxiety to trauma to cultural identity shifts. Therapy creates a space to better understand ourselves and the way our past impacts our present. In sessions, I work with clients to uncover patterns that contribute to an overall feeling of dissatisfaction in life. This provides the roadmap to help clients build a life that feels full, joyful, and meaningful. Clients tell me that I am warm, non-judgemental, and bring a welcome sense of humor into sessions. Therapy can be hard work. But it is work that I love doing and something that I take very seriously. My practice is informed by my interest in psychology, sociology, anthropology, and feminist studies. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Brown University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. In the past decade, I have lived in Senegal, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Lebanon, and I bring a multicultural perspective into the therapeutic space.
