I am a social worker focused primarily on helping those with a wide variety of mental health concerns. With a background in therapeutic communities, I believe it is essential to protect the dignity and humanity of a patient no matter the extent of their suffering. We often work with young adults who may have had therapy in high school but did not previously find therapy helpful (often due to a lack of agency in picking their therapist, misunderstanding or invalidation of their experiences, disruptions in confidentiality or lack of concrete coping skills/goals worked on). Hi, my practice is here to support those struggling with disordered eating, body image issues, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. Most of my clients come to me due to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, and have a feeling of just surviving. I utilize a variety of different modalities based on the individuals needs.
