Just about everything in life ebbs and flows which at times can leave you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and defeated. It is important to remember that although life may feel heavy at this moment, it does get better and you don’t have to feel ashamed of your emotions. You are entitled to recognize and accept the individual that you are right now, while also feeling inspired and motivated by the individual you envision yourself to be in the future. As a clinician, I will meet you where you are, and help you build the self-determination to seek out what may be weighing on your heart. Release what no longer serves you and feel empowered to step into your truth. Much of my career has been trauma-focused, working with adolescents and young adults, to help build self-awareness and understand the mind, body connection. I also work with those struggling with racial, multicultural, and gender identity concerns, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/image, emotional distress, and family/relationship dynamics. My goal is not to place you in a box, but to use multiple treatment modalities that are tailored to your individual needs including: trauma-focused, psychoanalysis, solution-focused, CBT, and mindfulness practices. My approach to therapy is holistic, strengths-based, relatable and honest, with a sprinkle of humor to brighten your day! If you are ready and willing to give yourself the grace to be unapologetically you, then I am here as your teammate to cheer you on through this journey. I will always honor the person that you are today, as you work towards becoming the person you strive to be tomorrow. *waitlist only at this time*

Hi, thanks so much for taking an interest in my practice. It takes great courage and awareness to come to the decision to reach out for support. I see clients in my office in Cambridge, MA, near Davis Square, and in Melrose, MA, as well as by teletherapy/videochat. I specialize in helping people to free themselves from the 'silent conversation' that we have with ourselves throughout the day. By understanding how this conversation influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions, it is possible to adapt it to feel more empowered in life. It is my hope that your therapy experience will feel comforting, meaningful, real, and effective in getting to the heart of your core concerns. I work from an integrative framework in a warm and interactive environment, drawing from holistic, cognitive, and psychodynamic influences to help people to reclaim a sense of choice and authorship in their lives. My background includes more than 25 years in clinical healthcare, school, and community settings working therapeutically with individuals, couples, and groups on a wide-range of issues causing acute and chronic distress. Welcome! I'm so glad you've found your way here. College can be an exciting time, but it can also come with stress, old wounds that resurface, anxiety, and moments where you’re just not sure who you are or where you’re headed. Therapy can be a space to slow down, breathe, and talk honestly about what’s going on - without judgment. My goal is to create a place where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and safe to figure things out at your own pace. We’ll work together to understand the patterns, thoughts, and emotions that might be keeping you stuck, while also tapping into the strengths you already have (even if you don’t always feel them). I see therapy as more than “fixing problems”—it’s also about reconnecting with yourself, growing in confidence, and building a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you want to be. I use an individualized, integrative approach—drawing from psychodynamic therapy, relational work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—because there’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing. This means we’ll explore your past and present experiences, uncover what’s behind certain reactions or habits, and bring compassion to every part of you. I’d be honored to walk with you as you learn to trust yourself, practice self-kindness, and reclaim your voice. Together, we can explore what matters most to you and help you move toward a life with more clarity, confidence, and connection.

Life is a journey of continual self-discovery, filled with challenges, stressors, and moments of adjustment. Sometimes, these demands become overwhelming, and navigating them alone can feel overwhelming. As a therapist, I offer client-centered psychotherapy and consultation services for adults. My expertise lies in assisting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stressful life situations, relationship difficulties, and adjustments to life changes. Grounded in developmental, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and internal family systems (IFS) theories, my approach is focused on the client, practical, and strength-based.

Thank you for considering working with me. I do both therapy and/or medication management. My approach is a team approach where I work collaboratively with you. Even if you have a therapist and need someone for just medication management, I like to get to know you as a whole. I try to avoid making students feel labeled and pressured to start a medication. I strive to make a welcoming environment for all students with diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ students. My private practice is mainly undergraduate and graduate students along with young adults recently in the workforce.

Seeking psychotherapy is a big step. I strive to provide a warm, accepting, and safe space where students can freely explore their experiences and emotions. Guided by our understanding of your unique story, we will come up with a personalized way of working together to meet your goals. I work with students who are navigating relationships with mentors, friends, and romantic partners, and grappling with questions of identity and career. I also see students struggling with serious mental health issues such as depression, anxiety/panic, and trauma. I was trained at Veterans' Affairs medical centers in treating PTSD, and my graduate training focused on issues of religion and identity.

The students I connect with most are curious about themselves and want to understand not just what they feel, but why. Many seem capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside — struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, friendship or dating struggles, or a harsh inner critic. Some notice the same patterns repeating or feel unsure of who they are and what they want. If you’re ready to look a little deeper, we’ll likely be a good fit. I offer a steady, supportive space to explore the inner stuff you’ve been carrying around. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a sense of humor to our work, helping therapy feel human, relatable, and sometimes even a little fun. I use talk therapy as our foundation, and when it’s a good fit, I may also bring in EMDR, a well-researched approach that helps your brain process difficult experiences — whether from the past or present — so they feel less intense and less triggering. I also draw from practical skills, mindfulness, and self-exploration tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control — ready to move through college with greater clarity, self-trust, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.
