Beginning therapy can often seem daunting. It can be the first time you are admitting something isn’t working, or you aren’t feeling okay. I want to provide the space and time for you to sit with that possibility, work together to understand those thoughts and feelings, and use your experiences to guide you toward new, affirming spaces and connections. Together, we can support you in navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, neurodivergence, identity and LGBTQ+ related concerns, as well as relationship challenges, family dynamics, and major life transitions. Whether you’re beginning therapy or returning to it, I look forward to connecting and working together.

SpringSource Psychological Center was founded by two Ph.D., licensed clinical psychologists as a collaborative practice to help individuals heal from eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, and life stressors and transitions. While we work with clients across the lifespan, we have a particular interest in early adulthood, due to the number of transitions and demands that occur during this phase of life. We have a diverse range of clinicians with many years of insight oriented and skills-based training, so we can accommodate both long and short term psychotherapy, dependent upon the client's needs. We have clinicians with expertise in Latinx issues and LGBTQ+ issues, and we have the ability to conduct sessions in Spanish and Russian. We strive to be a warm, welcoming practice where we work with individuals to improve their emotional, behavioral and mental health.

I work with young adults and students navigating life transitions, identity development, relational stressors, or mood dysregulation. I enjoy working with a diverse range of students, and have experience with immigrant, first-gen, or international students. I am a Middle-Eastern American clinician who appreciates and is curious about the impact of culture, religion, and family upbringing on my client's perspective, values, and emotional experiences. I take a trauma-informed and relational approach and classify myself as an integrated psychodynamic and humanistic therapist. This means that I put you at the center of the work we do and am especially curious about how past relational dynamics and experiences impact the way you show up today.

I am a pre-licensed clinical psychologist specializing in individual therapy for adults, including young adults and college/graduate students. My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic and relational frameworks, with an emphasis on exploration and understanding of how your experiences have shaped the way you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. I strive to help clients feel empowered by integrating skills- and values-based interventions drawn from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I view therapy as a collaborative process and bring an empathetic, compassionate, and curious approach to helping clients identify patterns that may keep them feeling stuck while building the confidence to make meaningful changes. My areas of specialization include supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, non-suicidal self-injury, relationship and dating concerns, family issues, identity exploration, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), perfectionism, stress, grief, and self-esteem challenges. I also work with couples and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and with intersecting identities, including first-generation individuals, immigrants, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and international students. I strive to provide a culturally responsive and affirming space where clients can bring their full selves to therapy. *I am able to accept BCBS PPO, select BCBS HMO sites (see below for complete list), Blue Choice, Aetna, and Cigna plans. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) from The Chicago School and am currently working toward independent licensure. My professional experience includes providing care to adults and adolescents across higher levels of care—including inpatient hospital settings, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs—as well as university counseling centers and outpatient private practice. I grew up on the East Coast and have called Chicago home for the past five years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, connecting with loved ones, trying new restaurants, and attending comedy shows, concerts, and neighborhood festivals. I see therapy less as a pursuit of perfection and more as a space for curiosity and self-understanding, where we begin to loosen the psychological barriers that keep us stuck and open up possibilities for a more meaningful, connected, and balanced life. I work with adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, autism and ADHD, LGBTQIA+ and identity-related challenges, and the everyday weight of stress. I support clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and struggles with self-esteem. I look forward to working alongside you as you build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I’m a Clinical Psychologist who works with a large number of students and early career professionals navigating a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship and family concerns, and identity-related questions. I believe that therapy is a collaborative and creative process that unfolds through developing a strong alliance with a therapist. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgemental space for people to name, feel, and share their unique experiences. Although it can be difficult to put your emotional life into words, the decision to do so has the power to open up new ways of knowing and understanding yourself. It can also reveal patterns in your life that you might wish to explore in order to create space for more meaningful and satisfying possibilities. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation, please feel free to reach out.

I believe therapy can be a place where you can leave the expectations and demands of the world at the door to focus on redefining what life, joy, and connection mean to you. I practice knowing that you are the expert in your lived experiences; my role is not to prescribe but to walk alongside you on your journey. I apply a trauma-informed, feminist, and disability justice lens to my work and utilize modalities such as narrative therapy, Self psychology, and Liberation psychology. This means I focus on your innate strengths as well as how experiences in the therapy room extend to your relationships outside of it. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I believe in the value of a therapeutic space where we both can show up as our true selves. I am passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ as well as neurodivergent clients. During my previous work in hospital and community mental health settings I supported clients with relationship issues, and identity exploration, and gender dysphoria, as well as substance use concerns, trauma, OCD, grief, and depression. I value my previous training providing queer competent counseling that additionally affirms the experiences of kink practitioners, sex workers, and those in polyamorous/ENM relationships. Currently I am receiving doctoral training at Center Focused Therapy as I finish earning my PsyD in Clinical Psychology. I offer a free 15-minute video consultation and my sliding scale rate starts at $25.

I work with college students, emerging adults, and professionals navigating anxiety, identity concerns, workplace stress, career exploration, and life transitions. I see therapy as an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself during moments of uncertainty or change. My approach is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and presence, and I value being sincere and direct while maintaining warmth and thoughtful reflection. I aim to create a supportive, respectful therapeutic space where clients feel understood and empowered. My work integrates psychotherapy with mindfulness-informed and holistic practices that support self-awareness, grounding, and connection. I’m drawn to approaches that invite clients to slow down, tune in, and build a more intentional relationship with themselves, while honoring the whole person beyond symptoms alone. I completed my doctoral internship at Duke University Counseling and Psychological Services, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Headspace Health. I hold a PhD in Psychology from Tennessee State University’s APA-accredited program and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. I am also certified in Mental Health Coaching.
