I am a trauma-informed provider who specializes in supporting individuals and couples navigating conflict, depression, anxiety, infertility, chronic illness, grief/loss, trauma and transition. One of the bravest things we can do is begin to understand our own stories. Clients I support often grapple with the impact of narratives about who they were, are, or "should be", leaving them questioning, "Do I matter?" or shedding pieces of their identity to generate a sense of belonging. Together, we can explore societal and relational influences on your story, while identifying your values, strengths, options for healing and growth. I believe every client holds expertise in their own experiences and deserves the right to make decisions honoring personal journeys and values. My approach incorporates relational-cultural, feminist, and interpersonal lenses. I utilize the Gottman Method, CBT, DBT, IFS, and MSC strategies, also drawing from 12+ years of experience as a parent and educator. Everyone deserves to experience validation, compassion, and belonging. I am committed to facilitating a space in which you feel understood, valued, and supported as we prioritize your goals, explore your story, and incorporate strategies for reintegrating pieces of your Self so you also can experience increased personal acceptance and relational connection.

Many of my previous clients have sought help for depression, anxiety, family/relationship conflict, substance use, adjusting to difficult life transitions, exploring and redefining personal identities, and sometimes simply learning more about who they are and who they want to be. Here is a snapshot of my specialty areas: Depression Anxiety/Panic Attacks Identity exploration LGBTQ+ Life transitions Chronic Disability/ Invisible Illness Alternative spirituality Existential questions Before studying and graduating with a master of science degree in clinical mental health counseling, I studied and taught French and Francophone language, literature, and culture. Having studied in Quebec, Canada and having taught English in France reinforced my devotion for expanding perspectives and developing insight. I eventually decided to apply my passion for introspection and self-exploration to help those who need a guiding hand through life's trials and travails. Upon returning to the US, I enrolled in the University of North Georgia's counseling program. I interned in a community counseling setting in North Georgia as well as in a college counseling setting at Kennesaw State University. These experiences continued to inspire me to help those in most need of sensitive care, such as the LGBTQ+ community. Insight and introspection can be lifesavers when we feel as though we’ve lost our way. Learning new ways of handling and adapting to all of life’s changes can be revitalizing. We can grow through obtaining new perspective. I would be excited to be there with you on your path as a co-journeyer and as a provider of objective, researched-based counseling.

“To heal is to touch with love that which we previously touched with fear.” – Buddhist proverb As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), I provide a holistic, evidence-informed approach to therapy, helping adults navigate OCD, trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges with greater clarity and self-trust. I have specialized training in trauma and substance use counseling, and I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals managing OCD, including those experiencing intrusive thoughts and compulsive patterns that feel difficult to break. My work is strongly rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supporting clients inbuilding psychological flexibility, reducing avoidance, and reconnecting with what matters most to them. I am also currently engaged in intensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention(ERP) to further strengthen my work with OCD. I tailor each session to the individual, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic approaches to address both the mental and physiological impacts of stress and trauma. As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), I incorporate mind–body awareness into therapy in a clinically grounded way, drawing from breathwork, nervous system regulation, present-moment attention. For clients interested in a more integrative approach, this can support deeper awareness and regulation without requiring prior experience in yoga or meditation. I place a strong emphasis on both insight and application, so our work goes beyond simply processing experiences. While there is always space for you to feel heard and supported, therapy with me is also focused on helping you build practical skills, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful shifts in your day-to-day life. I approach therapy as a collaborative and supportive process, where you can feel both challenged and understood. Whether you are working through intrusive thoughts, healing from past experiences, navigating complex relationships, or seeking a stronger sense of alignment in your life, we will move at a pace that feels steady and sustainable. My goal is to help you build the skills, insight, and resilience needed to create meaningful, lasting change. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me spending time with my dog, Sebastian, deep in my sourdough era, cooking something new, or planning my next trip. I am also a big music lover and really value the small, grounding moments in everyday life.
Are you feeling anxious, wired, or overwhelmed? I help individuals find relief from anxiety, depression, loss, work or college stress, burnout, and past trauma. As someone with a multicultural background and being a second generation immigrant, I can understand the many layers of identity that influence our mental health. You can expect a compassionate and warm approach, allowing for self-exploration and growth. I use a blend of approaches such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MB-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you manage stress, find balance, and cultivate healthier relationships. In our sessions, we will learn about regulating your nervous system, explore new perspectives through reframing, build self-compassion and uncover your innate strengths.
