Hello, and a warm welcome to you! I collaborate with clients to identify their challenges and find ways to utilize their strengths to move through them. I work with those who struggle with their identity (i.e., religious/spiritual, racial, gender, age, immigration status, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status), grief and loss, and traumatic experiences and help clients to feel more grounded and confident in who they are. Hi, I'm Larry - owner and currently primary therapist at Growth Odyssey LLC. Thanks for stopping by! I prefer to utilize a relaxed, approachable style to facilitate easy conversation and connection. I change therapy modalities periodically to best match where you are at with your process. I can use humor to help cut tension and set a pace for conversation that doesn't get too overwhelming. I believe that good therapy is like searching for treasure underwater - we want to go down, sift through the sand and mud, look for buried treasure, and periodically take moments to come up for air. I'm happy to meet you where you're at in your journey and help you find your way. I'm trained: I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UCCS Colorado Springs with additional training for addiction treatment. I've completed trainings for EMDR, ACT, trauma informed care, and many other areas to give me a well-rounded toolbox to work with. I'm experienced: I have worked in most levels of care, from weekly therapy sessions to inpatient rehab for substance use disorders and hospitalization for suicidal thoughts and severe psychiatric distress. I've experienced working with a broad range of issues which means I likely have some experience related to what you are going through.

I'm here to offer support and guidance on your healing journey. Within life's challenges, there's an opportunity to discover peace, calmness, and effective coping strategies. Hello, I am now offering group therapy tailored to young adults. With your busy schedule in mind, groups are all online. Groups are focused on issues that are relevant to college aged students such as relationships, processing life transitions, creating healthy habits, and regulating your emotions. Groups are small at about 5-8 people to ensure that you get the most out of this service. I meet with clients 1-2 times before starting you in a group. I can't wait to get to know you! The current groups offered are: 1. Emotional Wellness for College Students 2. Young Women's Process Group
Hi, I'm Keiran (they/them). I serve individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, panic, grief, shame, loneliness, trauma, and other emotional pain as well as individuals with marginalized identities including various gender identities and sexual orientations. Often, as intelligent people, we use our minds and our intellect to ease our struggles, but these difficult emotions have a bodily experience that is important to acknowledge and work with. My approach to therapy includes mindfulness, body awareness, somatic techniques, and an attachment theory lens. Understanding ourselves and our struggles via logic is a small piece of therapy. We can also get to know ourselves with a felt sense of our internal experiences, judgments, confidence, and other patterns by noticing how our mind and body interact. I believe we all have the ability to heal ourselves. My role as a therapist is to offer you extra support, a welcoming space, a different perspective, and a new approach to your struggles as you move toward healing. I also believe a good fit is a crucial part of therapy, which is why I offer free, 20-minute initial consultations for possible clients.

I believe being a student and learning is an opportunity, and sometimes having a consistent therapist alongside can make the difference and help you get the most out of the opportunity. Being in school is not a singular thing, it’s not just about being the student in class who does assignments and gets the grade. In addition to being a student, there is one’s mental, physical, and emotional health, there are often bills to pay, and often the needs of others to meet. There are many other parts of ourselves and our lives that intersect with and function together with being in school. It can be overwhelming. It can be an adjustment. Transitions are big and important. There are our lives both in and out of school. Students are often also family members, caregivers, working individuals, or living with loss, trauma, depression, stress, or a medical illness. Students also learn differently, including some with accommodations for success. Some students find they need to confront an overwhelming need for perfection, or perhaps one is facing a particular challenge that is important to look at rather than look away. Therapy can be helpful when you are in school. I like to meet a client where they are at and begin by understanding you. I offer my warmth, and capacity to listen and to hold space even when the workable feels unworkable. I offer my experience and knowledge in counseling and in the creative art therapies, and hold value in an inclusive and affirmative lens. I enjoy working with students in higher education, meeting them in the places where school intersects with other parts of self that must be given care and attention, or to look more closely at or develop one’s career journey. I employ both talk therapy and the use of creative, expressive processes such as movement, poetry, art, music, story, and metaphor. The work is collaborative between counselor and client, being open about therapy goals and progress. I place value on your inherent strengths, and believe that we all hold motivation and an innate capacity to heal and be the very best versions of ourselves. Please call or email me to schedule a free consultation call.

We are not meant to be alone. Brandon Engler believes that life is fully lived and experienced in the context of relationships. Just as mental / emotional pain and suffering often originate in relationships, healing and growth must also come from cultivating a healthy relationship with a competent healer. Brandon takes special care to nurture this relationship with his clients so that healing and growth come naturally during the process. Brandon Engler has a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Substance Abuse, both from the University of West Florida.
