Specialty: The search for and making of meaning in life. Are you ready to close the door on anxiety, alleviate depression, and thrive in ALL your transitions and relationship? I love working with diverse communities of emerging young adults (18-29yro), adults, and couples who are fed up with "what is so" and are ready for some positive and effective movement in their life. Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know you, defining the issues you'd like to address, and exploring how I can best support your journey. Contact me and let's find out if we're a good fit to work together.
My academic study of transpersonal psychology and my own personal healing journey introduced me to therapists who inspired me to follow in their footsteps. Our partnership thrives on clear communication. I prioritize active listening and regular check-ins to ensure you feel understood and satisfied at every stage of our work. I work with clients to build trust and therapeutic alliance through supportive non-judgment, genuineness, and teamwork.
As a therapist grounded in Depth Psychology, I offer a compassionate and collaborative space for you to explore the layers of your experience. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, or relational challenges, I work with you to make meaning out of struggle and to reconnect with your own inner wisdom. My approach is relational, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed, with deep respect for your individual journey. I’m especially attuned to how unconscious patterns, family systems, and early experiences shape who we are—and how we heal. I also welcome dreamwork, myth, and imagination into the room when appropriate. I work with adults and teens, and I’m particularly passionate about supporting those who feel stuck, sensitive, or like they don’t quite fit the mold. You're not too much—and you're not alone. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes; it’s about building an authentic relationship where transformation becomes possible. If you’re ready to begin or continue this work, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

As human beings, we often find ourselves wanting more freedom, or perhaps wanting more purpose in our lives, or craving a sense of inner peace. Other times, we find ourselves caught up in difficult and challenging relationships in our personal lives or at work. Whether your life feels overwhelming or underwhelming, I believe that care and courage, along with some healthy curiosity can go a long way in helping you locate new possibilities and finding solutions that work for you. My process is not a one-size-fits-all affair. Indeed, the work we do together is unique to each and every individual I encounter and always begins with accepting you just as you are. Beginning the self-exploration of therapy is an act of courage. I respect your bravery by always providing a calm, warm, and nonjudgmental space to discuss and process your concerns. Together, we’ll collaborate in clarifying your goals, identifying effective strategies, and finding a path that will work for you.

At Roots & Refuge Center, we provide mental health services and healing spaces that support people through community care and cultural understanding. We offer soul-centered therapy for those who are displaced, seeking spiritual growth, or showing great resilience. Angelique uses a blend of ACT, somatic-based approaches, Emotionally Centered CBT (ECBT), DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. These modalities help build emotional resilience, navigate life transitions, and repair relational systems, all through a trauma-informed and culturally grounded lens. She also integrates faith-based and spiritual practices when they align with the client’s beliefs, offering a space that honors both clinical wisdom and ancestral or spiritual healing. She has the most training and experience treating trauma-related conditions, particularly in refugee and immigrant populations. As an individual who has some life experiences behind her, I understand the value of mental health services, and the importance of finding the right fit. I have a strong background in the field of social work, and appreciate the process of collaboration, being present and accompanying an individual in their journey of well-being. I strive to fully engage with you, not just to hear and to listen, but to be curious and inquisitive, to ask questions and to foster open communication. At the first session, I hope to convey to you that this is a safe and supportive spot to be heard, to speak up, and as we continue to meet, trust will be established. Building trust takes time as we get to know each other and establish rapport. I hope to meet you where you are at, to understand what will make you comfortable as we learn how to communicate. I never rush or apply pressure for you to act a certain way or provide information that you may not feel comfortable sharing. I welcome your questions and to please speak up.
My name is Yams (he/him), or formally Kameryn Rose, and I am a Black, agender, and queer-identified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Kameryn Rose Therapy, aka Rose Therapy, is a virtual private practice specializing in providing culturally-informed and affirming care to Queer and BIPOC students and community builders across California. My approach is collaborative, direct, and conversational—focusing on unmasking, setting boundaries, and reclaiming your narrative from stressful or oppressive systems.
I have been in practice over 25 years. I particularly specialize in helping young adults transition into adulthood. I understand the added stressors of this period of time including moving away from home, individuating and understanding oneself, figuring out goals for the future, and navigating personal relationships. I see problems from a family and systemic perspective in order to help create dynamic change. I work to help clients expand their understanding of themselves and discover opportunities for growth and change, often in the context of their relationships and families. I focus on helping clients change destructive relationship patterns, choose healthier lifestyles, and engage in fulfilling relationships. In addition to my educational and clinical experience, I have travelled extensively and have incorporated my knowledge of different cultures into my work as well. I believe in understanding and respecting a client’s individual and cultural diversity in all aspects of the clinical relationship.
Hi I am Ro (they/them). I provide radical care for expansive lives — creating space for healing that honors complexity, identity, and growth. My approach is affirming, trauma-informed, and rooted in curiosity and connection. I integrate Somatic Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, and other nervous-system–based modalities to support deep, embodied work. I work especially well with clients who live at the intersections — queer, neurodivergent, creative, questioning, or simply ready to do therapy differently. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live more freely, fully, and on your own terms.
My practice integrates relational psychodynamic and politicized somatic lineages and I love working with survivors of trauma, queer community, neurodivergent community, young adults, social justice organizers, artists, deep feelers, and outsiders.
I specialize in supporting adults, teens and children struggling with anxiety, trauma, and patterns of people-pleasing or overthinking. I work best with college students who are trying to find their place in the world while managing anxiety, depression, or questions about identity. Many of my clients are part of the LGBTQ+ community and are learning how to navigate relationships, family expectations, and self-acceptance. In our work together, we focus on understanding what’s beneath your stress and self-criticism, building confidence, and helping you feel more grounded and authentic in your life. My goal is to create a space where you can explore who you are without judgment.
Psychology is a fascinating field and I am passionate about helping people achieve their best selves. I have been practicing therapy for many years and in that time it has been a joy for me to see people find their joy and hope, and thrive! I believe in a collaborative working relationship and thus I approach therapy with a curious mind as we explore and discuss. I like to encourage self-empowerment, agency and independence and I like to check in with clients to confirm what I hear and give them the final say over their choice and life; I am merely the guide. I believe in practicing therapy collaboratively, working together where we will explore and discover the roadblocks and difficulties that brought them into therapy, and introducing new perspectives that will assist them in finding new ways to resolve their challenges. This is a recovery journey and I am merely the guide to assist each client in finding their best selves.
