Whitney Palma

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC
Accepting clients Last Updated Today

Maybe you've spent so long being strong for everyone else that you've forgotten what it feels like to be understood. Whitney is a licensed therapist in Hanover who believes healing starts in a real relationship, one where you're heard and accepted as you are. She works with adults carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief,
attuned to how culture, race, and identity shape how we see ourselves. Many clients are also moving through a shift: going through big life transitions/adjustments, or untangling patterns that once protected them but no longer fit. Whitney meets each person with warmth, in person in Hanover or by telehealth anywhere in Massachusetts.

Sessions center on the relationship as much as technique. Whitney draws on relational, humanistic, and psychodynamic thinking: naming patterns that keep you stuck, building steadier ways to ride out big emotions, and understanding how family and culture shaped how you cope.

You don't have to arrive with the right words or a tidy explanation of what's wrong. My hope is that you leave each session feeling a little lighter, not fixed, just less alone with it. If you're ready to be heard without having to perform being okay, I'd be honored to hear your story and support you along the way.
