Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT
Last Updated 18 days ago

I am a first generation Asian-American and enjoy being a catalyst for change and healing. I possess an innate desire to provide assistance, support, and guidance to others. My therapeutic process is to provide the opportunity and space for people to heal and find hope despite hardships. The best part of being a therapist for me, is being able to be a part of someone’s journey; walking alongside them and empowering them to develop, heal, and grow. I am always so honored and humbled to witness the resilience of people. My overall approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths based. Other modalities I use are the Inner Child model, CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Holistic Psychotherapy, and Family Systems Therapy. I like to work from a place of integrating our mind, body, and spirit. I bring my life experience plus the knowledge, skills, and insight I've developed over the years into a space to co-create along with you, your experience, your knowledge, skills, and insight.

I have a very strong passion for helping others. I enjoy being able to recognize strengths in others, and feel fulfilled when I can help them see it within themselves. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to grow at their own individual pace and to let acceptance and safety direct their learning and healing. I was exposed to adverse environments where it provided me the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience working with youth, individuals, and families of all ages with diverse, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have experience working with Trauma, Grief/Loss, Anxiety, Depression, and Substance Abuse. My background includes working with domestic violence, victims of homicide/victims of crime, substance use and co-occurring disorders. I have worked in community-based, outpatient, and residential/in-patient settings.

I look forward to meeting you and getting to know all the ways I can help foster your learning and growth. Let's walk this journey of life together. I'm here to support you.
