Reeti Kumar
Hi, I’m Reeti Kumar, and yes, therapy really can make life feel lighter. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing virtual therapy in Rhode Island, New York, and Connecticut. I help people get back to living the kind of life they actually want — not just the one they’re pushing through. I love working with college & grad students who are motivated to make changes but maybe feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in a loop of overthinking (hi, anxiety and perfectionism).
In our sessions, you’ll find a mix of evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, (because science works!) and down-to-earth conversations (because we’re both human). I also treat OCD with Exposure and Response Prevention - the gold standard to help you say "No way" to those compulsions making you late to class!
I bring in a multicultural lens, helping clients explore their identities, navigate family dynamics, and find balance between culture and expectations.
I offer a warm, judgment-free space where you can say what’s really on your mind (yes, even the “weird” thoughts — we all have them). Together, we’ll work on untangling unhelpful thinking patterns and building habits that support a calmer, healthier life.
