Being a therapist means being open, non-judgmental, supportive, informative, and humble. I realize that each individual is an expert in their own life, and I encourage individuals to develop their own goals based on their individualized needs.
I specialize in working with individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, individuals who have experienced emotional abuse, individuals struggling with a sense of secure attachment within relationships, and individuals with a history of self-harm and/or suicidal ideation. I also specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, and relationship/family conflict. Therapy is most effective when individuals actively engage in their treatment, and I hope to be able to provide tools and coping mechanisms to help clients reach their goals.
