I offer compassionate evidence-based support to help clients navigate life’s challenges and build emotional resilience. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and collaborate with clients to identify unhealthy patterns of behavior, replacing them with healthier more constructive approaches. I also specialize in Grief Counseling and provide a safe space to process loss; honor loved ones’ memories with dignity. I also utilize Sandtray therapy which uses creative, hands-on exploration to access emotions and insights that words alone may not express. I am also trained in the following evidenced-based modalities that help clients become solution-focused on a collaborative effort: Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gottman Method Therapy (couples), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Processing Training, Written Exposure Therapy and Strength-Based Therapy. Through these modalities, I aim to foster
healing, self-understanding, and personal growth in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

I have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for twenty plus years. I am originally from Westchester County, New York and completed my B.S. in Psychology from Marymount College and earned my M.S.W. from New York University.
My heritage is that of a multi-cultural background and I am Bi-lingual (English and Spanish). I currently live and practice in Tampa, Florida, where I established Consistent Therapy, LLC in 2011.
